
The 48th People's Choice Awards will be held on 6th December 2022 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. Saturday Night Live comedian-actor and host Kenan Thompson will return as host for the second time. The nominations were announced on Wednesday and fans can now vote 25 times per day, per category till November 9th.
Kenan Thompson expressed his excitement for hosting the People's Choice Awards again this year and celebrating the incredible talent and fans that this show brings together. He also expressed his gratitude for being nominated, thanking the fans and congratulating all of the nominees. Prepare for round two! He recently hosted the 74th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
Cassandra Tryon, SVP, Entertainment Live Events, NBCUniversal Television, and Streaming said in a statement that Kenan Thompson brought irreplaceable energy to the People's Choice Awards last year and his enthusiasm and passion for the pop culture and the fans was palpable in the room and on-screen.
