Don't know what to watch after Ted Lasso? well, we have got you covered

The series made its debut in 2020 and since then is the only thing audiences, fans, critics, and award show judges can talk about. The ceaselessly optimistic TV show won big at the Emmys, managed to impress the SAG Awards, and credited some great points into the impression accounts of Jason Sudeikis and Hannah Waddingham.

Ted Lasso is a show based on the cheerful optimism of Ted Lasso, a novice coach who leads his British Soccer Team to countless wins through nothing but sheer determination. His light, delightful character paired with the series' on-point comedic delivery makes for a fun watch every time you need to indulge in a comfort TV watch. Radiating good, positive vibes, warmth, and kindness, Ted Lasso has managed to win over the hearts of his on-screen mates and real-life audiences.

And now that the series has wrapped after Season 2 and the production of Season 3 has yet to come up with a release date, here is a list of all the sunny-themed TV shows that will help you get through the rougher days.

Another big Emmy winner this year besides Ted Lasso, Schitt's Creek is sure a crowd favorite. The story follows the life of the Roses, a married couple, filthy rich and wealthy, enjoying every pleasure of life as they suddenly find the company they rely on for their good fortunes has gone bankrupt. Hence, the couple moves into a small town they had once purchased as a joke and now have to live in a motel with their two adult kids.

Having to deal with a totally new environment as they are forced to shun their previous luxuries, Johnny, played by Eugene Lev, and Moira, played by Catherine O'Hara, learn to live without their endless wealth. The series by Dan Levy was first thought up as an idea when the creator would think of the ridiculously rich American families and how they would live if they ever lost all the wealth, which eventually pitched up the idea for the hilarious ride that Schitt's Creek is.

Superstore

The Netflix series takes a fun turn at the average employment scene of the nation, with the story spanning over the employees of cloud 9, a big-box store in St. Louis, Missouri. The series portrayed the apt struggle faced by the employees of the store that almost every retail store employee can relate to. As opposed to Ted Lasso and his single take on the workings of the football club, Superstore focuses on the experiences of the group and their collective management of the store.

Spanning everywhere from the characters' personal lives, their struggles at work, and everything that their life entails, the story is fun to witness despite the saddening tales of failed romances, rivalries, and everything else.

The Good Place

Bizarre and funny at the same time and set in a utopian heaven-like world, The Good Place focuses on the life, or particularly the after-life of Eleanor Shellstrop, as played by Kristen Bell. The amiable character finds herself in a lovely heaven-like world that rewards the people who have done good actions in their lifetime. Designed by Michael, the 'architect' of the place, placed by Ted Danson, the place features all the good things people wish for after their death.

However, after her initial days at the place are over, Eleanor starts reminiscing about her mistakes from her life and hopes to hide these to ensure her place in heaven. She becomes a better person during her stay in the place and is helped by some friends along the way. The utmost whole fullness of the series, along with good values, certainly makes it a heartwarming watch. The cast members include William Jackson Harper as Chidi, Jameela Jamil as Tahani, and Manny Jacinto as Jason and D'Arcy Carden as Janet.
