The artist went ahead to thank the writers of the song, Tully Kennedy, John Morgan, Kurt Allison, Lydia Vaughan, and the record companies. Carrie Underwood thanked Jesus, the fans, and the entire team who were involved in making the songs. She went ahead to thank country radio and Jason Aldean for asking her to be a part of the song.

Miranda Lambert, who won Entertainer of the Year, was not present at the ceremony because she had been working overseas, and she revealed during her acceptance speech that she had missed the Academy Country Music Awards for the first time in 17 years. She added that she had been waiting for this very moment for a long time and she never thought it would ever come to trial.

Miranda went ahead and thanked her fans, family, friends, and everyone who supported her and embraced her music. She finally thanked her manager and said that she dedicates the award for every girl songwriter and singer out there in the world who works really hard and put their best for bringing in the songs and music into their guitar strings. With winning Entertainer of the Year, the country singer, Miranda Lambert has now earned the Triple Crown Award, which means that she has won new female artist, female artist of the year, and entertainer of the year. Isn't this exciting?

Morgan Wallen, who won Album of the Year, returned to the first award show following the saga of his video going viral in which he can be seen saying racial slurs, which led to him being barred from numerous events. While accepting the award, Morgan went on to thank his family, friends, and the team who had been by his side.

Morgan acknowledged that this album, as well as the award for his son, will symbolize the fact that his father was a fighter who pursued and realized his dreams. Back in February 2021, a video of the artist using the N-word surfaced on the internet, and people were not happy. He acknowledged his mistake and shared with E! News that he was embarrassed and apologetic for using an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur.

Morgan went ahead to share that he wishes he could take all of it back and there are no excuses for using such unacceptable language. He apologized once again and promised to do better. The artist was banned by the Academy of Country Music from their 2021 show as they said in a statement that they do not support such behavior as it does not align with their commitment and dedication to diversity and inclusion. He was also barred from attending the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, and in July, Morgan appeared on Good Morning America with Michael Stahan to explain what he meant when he said his actions were caused by being drunk after Miachel asked him how being drunk could lead to saying racial slurs.

Morgan said that he was just ignorant about the derogatory terms used and had witnessed racism in country music. He apologized and said he’d do better.

Congratulations to the winners!
