Sony Pictures has revealed a brand new clip starring Woody Harrelson's fan-favorite comic book character Carnage. In the new video clip, Cletus Kasady is seen transforming into the ancient alien symbiote. The shot is totally inspired by The Amazing Spider-Man #361 comic book, which was released in 1992.

A similar video clip of deadly-looking Shriek from the upcoming Venom: Let There Be Carnage film was also released on a YouTube channel by the name Bloody Disgusting.

The video clip begins with Shriek sitting in a soundproof cell surrounded by a group of men. The supervillain then stands up as she sees the group of men coming close to give her food.

Despite the various protecting tools used by the orderlies, Shriek kills one of the orderlies using her deadly superpowers.

Recently, one of the leading stars from the film Tom Hardy, who plays the role of Venom, also known as Eddie Brock, revealed that the film was being considered for R-Rating before it eventually ended up with a PG-13 rating.

Hardy said, "With all of these symbiotes, you know, you consider it. You read the comic books, and it is extreme, but that's not what we're here to do. We came here to make a movie which, and correct me if I'm wrong, I mean, there's a law and a rule into creating a movie that's accessible to a lot of people, as well as that caters to everybody, including the hardcore fans. So I hope the hardcore fans at least take home that they look at Carnage and go, 'Yeah, I recognize Carnage from the comic books. I'm happy with that.' And yeah, no, we didn't bite everybody's head off, but we did stick a tongue down someone's throat pretty... and managed to come in at a level of rating which is reputable so that grandma can come but also I'll come watch it too."

Prior to actor Tom Hardy comments on the consideration of R-Rating for the film. The director Andy Serkis also defended it saying, "I think we have pushed to the very very limits, the danger and darkness, and the threat and the menace of Carnage."

Previously Serkis was also seen confirming a face-off between two fan-favorite comic book superheroes Venom and Spiderman. The director revealed the details in response to a question about the possibility of an official crossover between Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Tom Hardy's Venom.

Serkis said, "Everyone wants to know when Venom is going to meet Spider-Man, personally, it's not going to happen," Serkis said. "I'm kidding. It's going to happen, the question is when. We don't want to rush it."
