Jennifer Lawrence is a soon-to-be mother! The actress is nearing her expected delivery with each passing second, and being pregnant was certainly a life-changing experience for her. Her husband, Cooke Maroney, stood by her through the entire experience and made sure that the new mama is never wanting for anything. 

The couple is now happily waiting for their due date to arrive so that they will finally be able to meet their little kiddo. The Hunger Games star recently shared with Hollywood Life that her pregnancy has been a great experience, and her husband, Cooke Maroney, stayed “incredibly attentive to her needs”.

A source close to the actress shared that the latter is very excited for the newest addition in their family to finally make their appearance. They said, “Jen is thrilled to become a mom for the first time, and she can’t wait to meet her baby.” Referring to Jennifer's big family, they added, “Jen comes from a big family, and so she knew she wanted to have a family of her own. She is very close with her mom, who has been giving her a lot of advice about motherhood and what to expect, etc.”

Sharing how Cooke is equally included and devoted to the new mama and their little kiddo who might come any day now, the insider continued, “Jen has been nesting and getting everything ready, and Cooke has been a tremendous help. He’s been so supportive by being there at the drop of a hat for her. He’s incredibly attentive to her needs and just wants to be there for anything she might ask for. They’re so excited, and they’re going to make amazing parents.”

The couple has already started looking for a new home so that they can bring home their child to a fresh start with better rooms! The two have prepared all they can for the arrival. 

Jennifer and Cooke Maroney had met back in 2018 when a friend had introduced the two. They started dating each other, and just in no time at all, the couple was head over heels in love with each other. Just in a year, the two got engaged in February 2019 and tied the knot the same year in October. 

Their relatively low-key wedding included 150 guests, and the invite list featured a lot of high-profile names ranging from Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble to Emma Stone, Amy Schumer, Adele, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Cameron Diaz, and Benji Madden, Sienna Miller, and Ashley Olsen. 

Finally, two years into wedding bliss, the couple announced that they will soon be extending their family as Jennifer announced that she is to have her first child!

Once the two were introduced by their celebrity friend Laura Simpson, “Things between them" became "very serious,” as shared by a source with Us Weekly in January 2019. Just a month later, the actress and the art gallerist announced their engagement, and the actress was seen sporting a massive ring on "that" finger. 

Before then, Cooke had tried downplaying things for the sake of their privacy as a source shared, “Cooke plays very coy when speaking about her to his friends and colleagues. He is clearly smitten about her.”

The actress was all praises about her fiance even back then and had said during "Naked with Catt Sadler" in June 2019, “He’s the greatest human being I’ve ever met. He really is, and he gets better.” 

The two had developed their relationship very slowly, as shared by the X-Men actress, and the two took their time to get to know each other. She had said, “I don’t know, I started with the basics, you know, ‘How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?’ … I don’t know. It’s just this is The One. I know that sounds really stupid, but he’s just, he’s, you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”

The couple had moved in together in January 2019, before getting engaged, and an insider had shared, “They definitely appear to be in it for the long haul.” 

The star had even shared that the thought of getting engaged had yet not crossed her mind until she had met her future husband. “I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married,’” she continued. “I just met Cooke, and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other, we wanted to commit fully, and he’s my best friend, and so I want to legally bind him to me forever.”

Hence, the beautiful couple took things a notch ahead and went on to say "I do" in a closed ceremony in Rhode Island. The two have been keeping things very understated since then and rarely make many public appearances. However, the actress did share how the pandemic helped the two bond with each other. 

When talking with Heather McMahan on Dear Media's show Absolutely Not with Heather McMahan in an October 2020 podcast, she said, “I am actually a complete homebody and the laziest person who’s ever lived. Like, Cooke’s biggest joke with me, he’s like, ‘Oh, you want to go directly back to the apartment, babe?’ Or like, ‘Oh no, you have to stay in bed again today.'” 

The two are very chill with their relationship and are totally cool when it comes to shifting dynamics in their relationship. Jennifer had revealed that her husband is completely okay when she has to have sleepovers with friends. She shared in October 2020, "My friend came over, and it was not planned, but she ended up spending the night, and we slept in my bed, and my husband slept in our guest room."
