With new music, the queen has returned.

Adele, the 33-year-old Grammy Award winner, returned to social media after a nine-month hiatus to announce the release of her new single. The artist teased her single 'Easy on Me,' which will be released on October 15th, 2021, with a 21-second short video clip.

The teaser shows the singer driving a car on a lonely road in a monochrome setting. Adele is driving the car while jamming to the song's instrumental with her flawlessly lined eyeliner. The song will be the first single for the 15-time Grammy winner in six years. Giving a hint of nostalgia, Adele has used a cassette tape in the video.

The news of her single has elated the fans of the ‘Someone Like You' singer, who are also anticipating the release of her upcoming studio album following the release of her song. The release of her new track follows the appearance of posters and projections around the world carrying the number 30, which is thought to be the title of her upcoming album. In the first hour after its release, the teaser for Easy on Me was viewed six million times.

Experts have decoded Adele's new song, indicating that the single is definitely the type of emotional piano ballad Adele excels at. The teaser showcases Adele in her traditional form, similar to her earlier sepia-toned videos such as "Someone Like You" and "Hello". Some assume that the video was shot in the same location as the video for "Hello," implying that the song is a sequel.

Experts have speculated that Adele's album title, '30,' is linked to her past pattern of calling her albums after her age during a key year in her life, following 19, 21, and 25. Adele divorced her ex-husband Simon Knoecki when she was 30 years old and has kept a quiet profile ever since.

The breakup must have been difficult on the singer, and the track ‘Easy on Me' fits wonderfully because the teaser evokes somber tones of loss, sorrow, and passing time, as well as an inner defiance that propels her forward despite the heartbreak.

A TV special is expected to follow Adele's album release, although no official announcement has yet been made. Adele has always shied away from queries about when her new music will be released, writing, "Of course it's not [coming out soon].Corona isn't over yet. I'm putting myself in quarantine. Put on a mask and wait.”

According to experts, Adele dislikes being rushed when it comes to composing music, and her voice has been described as "rich and emotional," capable of melting even the hardest of hearts. Adele and boyfriend Rich Paul recently made their relationship official. Adele looks stunning in a black strapless gown with white puffed sleeves in the photos, while Paul looks dashing in a velvet tuxedo.

According to Page Six, Adele and Paul attended sports agent Anthony Davis' lavish wedding and uploaded photos with a simple red heart emoji. Fans of the singer have greeted the news of her new single and relationship with enthusiastic arms, proclaiming, "Adele's new era is coming."  Billboard also reported that Adele is heading to Las Vegas for a residency next year to promote her new work.
