Adele sends message of love and support for Megan Thee Stallion.

Adele took some time out of her Las Vegas residency to send love and support to rapper Megan Thee Stallion after the verdict was announced and Canadian rapper Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting her in the foot back in 2020.

During her Friday show, which was part of her Weekends with Adele Las Vegas residency, the 34-year-old musician wished Megan Thee Stallion a Merry Christmas and peace now that the trial has come to a close. Adele started to narrate a story to the audience, saying that someone asked her why Adele doesn’t have backup dancers, and then someone made a video of Megan Thee Stallion dancing on Water Under the Bridge.

Adele continued that she just wants to wish Megan Thee Stallion a very, very Merry Christmas and added that she should now get her peace and do what she loves, adding that she loves her.

The singer's message of love and support comes just hours after Tory Lanez was actually convicted in his assault with a deadly weapon after two weeks trial. The Canadian rapper was tried and convicted on three counts of aggravated assault with a semiautomatic firearm, discharging a weapon with extreme incompetence, and transporting an unlicensed loaded firearm in a vehicle. Because Tory Lanez is Canadian, he faces more than 22 years behind bars and even detainment.

The rapper pleaded not guilty after being charged in October 2020. He also posted on Twitter to try and protect himself, saying that time will reveal and the reality of the situation would emerge. Tory asserted that he has full faith in God and that he is showing love to all of his fans and people who've already stuck by him and understand his heart. A charge is not the same as a guilty verdict Tory Lanez said before he genuinely thanked everyone who has helped him or Megan through all of this.

Megan recalled her relationships with Tory Lanez and her closest mate and personal assistant, Kelsey Harris, during her witness statements on day two of the trial, telling the jury that she and Lanez had already become friends and formed a bond over the shared loss of their mums in the months before the getting shot. Megan, real name Megan Pete, critiqued Lanez's musical abilities, which she asserted sparked the fight.

She claimed Tory Lanez told her she really isn't anything, and then she told him he wasn't anything quite as well, before making comments on his career. Meg stated that this is where he is in his professional life and with his music. And she admitted during her testimony that it agitated him since he kept shouting and swearing at her. Megan testified before jurors that Tory Lanez supposedly offered each woman $1 million if they did not make a report to police, claiming he was on supervised release for a previous weapons offense.

Pardi, the singer's boyfriend, took to Instagram to express his support for Megan Thee Stallion and her bravery to stand up against the injustice she has faced. He wrote that he is disheartened for any woman, particularly one of color, who has been treated unfairly. He goes on to say that he prays for the safeguarding of all the mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces, and aunts out there and that he would not wish anything like this on anyone.
