King Kong star Adrien Brody has acted in many hit films and has led a very gratifying acting career. The actor won an Oscar for his role in The Pianist and later became a name that would forever be mentioned whenever the legacy of Wes Anderson will be talked about. One of the most frequent collaborators to have worked with the Wes Anderson, Adrien Brody recently worked on Clean, a film where he stars as a man coming clean out of his past.

The man has now undertaken the responsibility of protecting a young girl as a means to redeem himself of his violent actions in the past. The actor recently sat with Screen Rant for a Clean interview, where he talked about his latest work in the film and how his one-man team managed to write, produce and also create the music for the film. The actor will soon be seen working on other projects with Wes Anderson, namely Asteroid City and others.

It is a noble experience for Adrien Brody to have put the music that he has been creating as a silent project for three decades for use in his new movie. The actor said that he feels music is able to convey emotions through a universal language. He also shared that his life experiences helped him write and produce the music for Clean.

"It was such a frightening and exciting realization that the music that I had been quietly working on for now 30 years had some purpose, finally," he admitted.

Revealing how he came to write the music in the first place, he said that music was a way to cope with his hectic job as he tried his hands at acting. "I've had many phases of my life where music was really so important to me and, for whatever reason, I had a day job, and I was working very hard at trying to build an acting career through all those years. Music is a language. It's a way of communicating emotion in a universal way that speaks to others."

"What occurred to me as I was making the film, and as I was inhabiting theme, that a similar longing and the influences that have affected me in my life growing up in Queens in New York, that made me the man that I am today and that has inspired the creative work that I do, not only as an actor, but my work as a painter, that same source is what kind of emanates from me as a musician," detailed Brody.

"I started honing in on that, and ultimately created a theme for Clean, for the character, and then expanded upon that in the storytelling to enhance that emotional space and to go further into the vibe of what it's like for these characters in that world," before adding that "it was very exciting."

The actor has now been in the thoughts to release a soundtrack or an album with the music that he created for Clean. "I'd like to, yeah," when asked if the music will be available standalone. "I've been contemplating many, many variations because we have a lot of original music that I've made for the film, as well, that's in the movie, some of it additional work that I had done that didn't quite feel right, and then all that score."

All in all, Adrien Brody shared that the experience of his music coming to life was an 'amazing thing.' "It's an amazing thing, having an orchestra play, and French horns, playing synth horns that you've created. For it to come alive like that, I would love to share that as a musical experience as well," he said.

Talking about what he plans to do with music from now on, he said, "I'm figuring it out still, but I'm so happy that it's part of the storytelling of the film. I feel like it is an additional character that I got to play in the movie."

Adrien Brody, being a frequent name to appear in credits along with Wes Craven, a maiden experience such as Clean is an entire world to explore. Previously, Adrien Brody has only been remembered for his remarkable acting performances and his Oscar win, but now with Clean, he gets to add more to his list of skills.

And yet, his works with Anderson are no less legendary either. Talking about what it is like to work with the director, he shared, "Wes is so amazing and inspirational." The two are now said to be collaborating on Anderson's new work, Asteroid City.

Sharing how he switched characters so soon to enter work with Wes after finishing Clean, he shared, "I jumped into The French Dispatch about a week or so after wrapping Clean. We wrapped a week before Christmas and had to finish so that I could go. There was no leeway because I had already signed onto Wes's film." "So I really went from this into playing Cadazio within a moment's notice. It was ripping this from me," said the actor before ending the interview. "But Asteroid City is going to be so fun. It's going to be really wonderful."
