Getting to meet attractive people onscreen and romancing them is a great thing, but getting to expand that love into real life is even better. Not many onscreen couples have been successful in creating successful love stories of their love lives, but several celebrities managed to make it work.

Here are the best celebrity couples to have met on film sets and create lasting bonds with each other.

The cutest celebrity couple to exist is Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The two have the coolest relationship dynamics where they can not manage to pass a day without pulling the other's legs. The up had first starred together on the sets of Green Lantern back in 2011, but the two did not quickly connect into a romantic relationship.

Reynolds later told Entertainment Weekly when talking during The Jess Cagle Interview, “It was funny because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone, all that stuff, we were both single.” In the 2016 interview, he added, “We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl. That was the most awkward date for that respective party because we were just like fireworks.”

The two eventually went on a date together, this time with each other, and finally got married in 2013. The couple is now parents to three daughters, James, Inez, and Betty.

For Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling, the grounds to begin their romantic relationship was the sets of The Place Beyond the Pines. The two hence appeared together in a 2012 film but had met on sets in 2011. The couple had brought home their daughters, Esmeralda and Amada.

The two do not basically shout their love for each other for everyone to witness, but they do slip in tender remarks for each other and appreciate their partner. When the star earned his Golden Globes award in 2017 for his film La La Land, he made sure to make the sacrifices of his partner known.

In his acceptance speech, he said, “While I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer.” “If she hadn’t taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me today. So, sweetheart, thank you,” said the star.

While these celebs got to have their happily ever after with their onscreen partners, not everyone is so lucky. While several actors do get to pursue their co stars in romantic relationships, only a few of them tend to have their bonds last long. One of the celebrity pairs to end in a messy breakup after getting together with their onscreen partner was Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth

The two worked together on The Last Song in the 2010s and got together. After dating for some time, the couple got engaged but had to break up after a certain time period. Hence, the two went on to fall in love with other people, and yet, the two ended up together with each other again. The couple then got married years later after their initial romance period but then split in a messy divorce only eight months into their wedding.

Another celebrity couple to have had a rough time after dating their onscreen partners was Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green. The duo had started dating during the Hope & Faith series back in 2004. The couple had some time off each other but reunited and got married in 2010. The two then once again split in 2015, only to get together once again and this time welcomed home their third child together. But eventually, the two could not make it work, and they had to part ways in 2020.

Brian talked about his breakup in a May 2020 podcast, saying, “It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change.” He added, “There’s the unknown aspect … there’s that pit in my stomach … I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds … she’s been my best friend for 15 years, and I don’t want to lose that.”

But, Megan soon moved on with Machine Gun Kelly, her co-star from Midnight in the Switchgrass, as the relationship was confirmed by Us Weekly. Their relationship was confirmed in June 2020, and a source revealed that the two had a “strong connection.”

The two are usually front and center at most elite Hollywood events, packing on some PDA and cheering each other on. Machine Gun Kelly referred to Meghan as “my twin soul who showed me love,” during his Billboard Music Awards acceptance speech.
