Ana de Armas recalls the ‘unwanted attention’ while being in a relationship with Ben Affleck.

Ana De Armas, who is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated Chris Evans, Regé-Jean Page, and Ryan Gosling starrer ‘The Gray Man', during the cover story shoot with Elle for August 2022, she recalled the horrible and unwanted attention she got while dating actor Ben Affleck in 2020.

The actress shared that it was horrible to the extent that it became one of the reasons she left Los Angeles. Ana explained she had lived in Los Angeles for seven years, seeing the lives of other celebrities become a fishbowl with paparazzi following every move, and when it occurred to her, she recognized it was not the sort of place she wanted to be.

Ana further shared that she felt like there was no way out or that it had gotten a little too much. The stunning actress said that everyone feels anxious in Los Angeles because there is always a sense that something is missing or that one does not have it.

In 2020, Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck who co-starred in the movie, 'Deep Water' sparked rumors of their romance which turned out to be true and the duo had a brief relationship. They were frequently snapped by the paparazzi, and everything from their trips to their midday strolls made headlines.

However, a source told E! News in January 2021 that Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck had broken up and Ben Affleck's close friend at the time said the couple started having troubles in the autumn and stated they were just in different places in their lives. The actress is currently dating Tinder executive Paul Boukadakis, while Ben Affleck is now engaged to Jennifer Lopez. The Knives Out actor and the Tinder executive, according to ELLE, met during the pandemic through a common acquaintance and went on their first several dates while conversing and sipping wine at their houses.

Talking about the upcoming movie, the actress said to ELLE that she never thought that she was going to be an action actor, but after she performed some action sequences in James Bond's No Time To Die’, offers started to float in and she explained that she had to be careful which one to pick because that is not what she wanted to be. Ana de Armas said that action is something that makes her feel ridiculous and it takes a lot of work.

Chris Evans said that Ana de Armas is one of the people who one cannot stop watching on camera because her range from power to vulnerability is incredibly wide. Chris added that the actress can go from almost dangerous to exposed to gentle and soft in one scene. Jamie Lee Curtis, who met her on their first day of Knives Out, said that she is embarrassed about it but when Ana de Armas had come from Cuba on the movie set, she thought of her as someone who was inexperienced, unsophisticated young woman and that first day, she was like, "Oh, what are your dreams?"

Jamie Lee Curtis posed the query to the actress to advance the actress's career as she hoped to introduce Ana to Steven Spielberg to consider having the actress portray Maria in his 2021 film "West Side Story,". Jamie Lee Curtis was also interested to introduce Ana de Armas to her godchildren Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal. The actress, she said, is not as fancy as perhaps the commercials might have led the audience to expect, but she is someone who leans in and is interested in what you have to say, and she added that conversing with her is something reciprocal. She has a lot of questions since she is interested.

Ana de Armas who was the executive producer on Ghosted will appear in her upcoming Ballerina, which is set in the John Wick world and brings her and Keanu Reeves back together; she had a key role in locating the writer for the movie. When she first became engaged in the project, it was only the director, Len Wiseman, and another guy, and she felt that it would not work, so she claimed she needed to employ a female writer. The actress then conducted five or six interviews with female authors before selecting Emerald Fennell, of whom she is proud.

Adding to her feminism, the actress said that she was raised in the most macho of cultures, yet Cuba is so liberated in other respects that sometimes she is astounded by the things she hears that are still being spoken there and thinks that We're still here. Ana added that she makes project selections in part based on the filmmakers she wishes to collaborate with and then, of course, what's in there for her.

The internet shook when the trailer for Blonde, in which the Cuban actress plays the fictionalized version of Marilyn Monore as a Latina woman, was released. She said that she does want to play Latina, but does not want to put a basket of fruit on her head every single time. Ana added that she hopes that she can show that we can do anything if we're given the time to prepare and if we're given just the chance, just the chance. The actress added that you can do any film Blonde, you can do anything.

Talking about the diversity in the industry, Ana said that it's changing; it's getting better. But it's hard to know now, being in a position like her, as she knows it's not the same for everybody. She added that she feels like it's coming from filmmakers, and that diversity has become a must. You have to do the right thing. Thank God.
