The 38-year-old actor Andrew Garfield has claimed that he is by no means a part of the cast of Spiderman: No Way Home, and the leaked VFX footage that is being circulated all over the social media platforms is nothing but fake. Actor Andrew Garfield's comments comes off as a leaked video clip from the Spiderman sequel is making rounds all over social media where surprisingly, the actor is seen wearing the costume of fan-favorite superhero Spiderman.

Garfield denied his involvement by saying that, "I understand why people are freaking out about the concept of that because I'm a fan as well... You can't help but imagine scenes and moments of 'Oh, my God, how fucking cool would it be if they did that?'" He continued, "But it's important for me to say on the record that this is not something I'm aware I am involved in."

He added, "But I know I'm not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don't know what’s happening." He further added saying, "No matter what I say, I'm fucked. It's either going to be really disappointing for people or it's going to be really exciting." Later, when asked about the leaked video, Garfield claimed, "I heard about it. And I did see it. And it's a Photoshop.

The twist comes off in the story as a VFX at Corridor Crew reveals that the footage that is being circulated featuring Andrew as Spiderman is actually true. The duo artist claimed that the VFX clip is not deep fake because there are too many details that are impossible to ignore.

The story of the film starts after the events of Spiderman Far From Home released back in 2019, where Peter Parker's identity has been exposed to the world by the film's supervillain Mysterio as one other than web slinger Spiderman. The film will be exploring different concepts such as the multiverse with the help of Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange.

The upcoming American superhero film Spiderman: No Way Home is a sequel to Studios Spiderman: Far From Home released and is the 27th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jon Watts is in charge of directing the film with the story written by Chris Mckenna and Erik Sommers. The film is produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Studios and Pascal Pictures.

Spiderman: No Way Home will now be released in theatres on December 17, 2021, after it was meant to be released this year in July but had to be shifted to a new release date because of the shutting down of theatres around the world due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The film will feature Tom Holland playing the popular character of Peter Parker along with Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, and Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx.

Andrew Garfield will next be seen along with Alexandra Shipp, Vanessa Hudgens, Robin de Jesús, Joshua Henry, Judith Light, and Bradley Whitford in an American musical drama film Tick, Tick... Boom! which is directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and is inspired by a semi-autobiographical musical known as Jonathan Larson.

Garfield recently lost his mother and he had this to say to his fans and followers.

"We lost her just before COVID, just before we started shooting, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. So, for me, I was able to continue her song on the ocean and the wave of Jonathan's songs. It was an attempt to honor him in his unfinished song, and her in her unfinished song, and have them meet... She is someone who showed me where I was supposed to go in my life. She set me on a path," said Garfield.

He added, "One's mother is a different thing. It's the person that gives you life no longer being here. Nothing can prepare you for that kind of cataclysm. For me, everything has changed: where there was once a stream, there's now a mountain; where there was once a volcano, there's now a field. It's a strange head trip."
