The 57-year-old filmmaker Andy Serkis has recently said that 'The Batman' film will be one of its kind. The English actor while speaking with Screen rant shared his excitement for the film and claimed that with Matt Reeves as the director, he has absolute faith in the film.

He said, "I've been totally forbidden to speak about The Batman, of course," Serkis began. "But what I will say is that I'm pretty certain Matt Reeves, who is a very dear friend of mine and of course we've worked together on the Planet of the Apes movies, I know for a fact he's making a pretty amazing picture. I really think it's going to be special."

Serkis will be seen playing the role of Alfred in the upcoming Batman film along with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle / Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton also known as Riddler, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Barry Keoghan as Stanley Merkel, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, Colin Farrell as Oswald "Oz" Cobblepot also known as Penguin, Alex Ferns as Commissioner Pete Savage and Con O'Neill have been cast in an unknown role.

Previously, Andy in another interview, was also seen speaking about his character Alfred, and his relationship with Batman.

Serkis said, "I would say that's not far from the truth," the star said. "It's very much about the emotional connection between Alfred and Bruce. That's really at the center of it. And it is a really exquisite script that Matt has written."

Serkis was quick to add some kind words about Michael Caine's rendition of the character in previous films. "He [Caine] was fantastic. His Alfred was legendary, I couldn't even begin to go there, really. You find it for yourself. It's like playing these iconic roles in Shakespeare, you go back, you revisit them and you have to make it your own, and see what it is about the character that connects with you and your personal Venn diagram."

The director is currently busy with actor Tom Hardy and his team in promoting his another superhero film Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film is based on the fictional character named Venom that appears in American publication by the name of Marvel Comics.
