Matt Lanter’s wife, Angela Lanter, is opening up about her husband’s health condition.
Angela Lanter posted a picture of the couple’s hands interlocked with a caption that explained that Matt Lanter is on his way to recovering from emergency surgery after he was diagnosed with a loop intestinal obstruction, which meant that his small intestine had twisted, causing the blockage.
Angela mentioned that the actor, post-surgery, had experienced some setbacks, but he is feeling much better now and is on his way to recovering. The wife of the Star Wars actor mentioned that the medical team had advised the actor to focus on getting up and walking a little, and they were now helping the actor take baby steps towards moving a little day by day.

Angela Lanter added to her post that she is grateful to the people who reached out to get an update on her husband's health and thanked everyone for their prayers and love. Co-stars and friends of the actor sent their love for his speedy recovery including Melissa Joan Hart who wrote under Angela’s post that she is praying hard for his recovery. Johnathon Schaech wrote "love you" to Matt Lanter. Kellan Lutz’s wife, Brittany, also commented that the family is praying for the healing of Matt, along with praying for Angela and their daughter.
Angela Lanter shared that this week had been the scariest week of her life as Matt Lanter went into emergency surgery. Ashley Eckstein, who voiced for the character of Ahsoka Tank alongside Matt Lanter in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, took to her social media to show her support for a close friend and co-actor. In her post, Ashley urged her fans and Star Wars fans to keep praying for Matt Lanter's speedy recovery and good health.
Ashley went on to say that she is dedicating her Mental Health Monday post to Matt Lanter and asked everyone to send their thoughts, love, and support to the actor and his family. Matt Lanter has lent his voice to the character of Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. In 2021 shared that he had no idea that he was auditioning for the part of Anakin Skywalker because he was told that he would be reading for the character of Deak Starkiller, but there was not much information he could find on Deak online, so Dave Filoni suggested that he give his best Luke Skywalker and Han Solo’s best combination and that’s how he landed the role of Anakin Skywalker.
Matt Lanter also lent his voice to Aquaman in Justice League: Throne of the Atlantic, The Death of Superman, and Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. He also played Liam Court in the CW's 90210, Wyatt Logan in Timeless, and George Hutchense in Jupiter's Legacy. The actor has also starred in movies including Pitch Perfect 3, The Roommate, Vampires Suck, Disaster Movie, etc.
