The 46-year-old actress Angelina Jolie has revealed the secret behind her acceptance for the role of superhero Thena. Jolie shared that The Eternals is different from other superhero films and is one of a kind. The American actress revealed the detail while talking with CreamOrScream.
She said, "I don't usually lean towards superhero or sci-fi films. It's not usually what I'm looking to do. It felt like something else was happening in this film, though. It was very character-driven," Jolie shared. "These guys aren't Spider-Man or Captain America or the Hulk. A lot of hardcore fans won't know who the Eternals are. Introducing them all at once, that isn't easy."
The actress Angelina Jolie also revealed similar character detail while not addressing about her future in MCU when she was speaking with Total Film.
She stayed silent on her future with the franchise. "I don't think I can say that," Jolie replied when asked about her plans to return down the line. "Good try, though."
She added, "I was given the 'could manifest weapons in my hands' [power]. A lot of my training was really fun, to try to figure out how to fight that way," Jolie explained when talking about preparing to be Thena.

Jolie was recently seen with her co-star Salma Hayek celebrating Hayek's birthday. Hayek, who is set to play the role of Ajak, shared the birthday clip on social media platforms.
At the beginning of the video clip, the duo was seen having a lot of fun with their friends, with later on Salma's face being smashed into the cake.
