Parenthood is a life-changing phase. Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the new parents welcomed their bundle of joy, an angel into the Royal Family.

Beatrice, 33, welcomed her first child weighing 6lbs 2oz at 11:42 pm on 18 September at the Chelsea in Westminster Hospital, in London. 

Buckingham Palace announced on 20th September, the arrival of a baby girl, the sovereign 12th great-grandchild, and 11th in the line of British sovereignty.

Buckingham Palace stated that the arrival of the little princess is shared with her grandparents and great grandparents, on hearing they were gladdened and excited. They also thanked the staff at the hospital for their extreme support and care.

They also added that the mother and child are both safe and well and the new parents are going to introduce the angel to her elder brother Christopher Woolf (son of Edo from previous affairs)

Princess Beatrice - The new Mum

She is royal blood and Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter. She is the daughter of Queen’s younger son Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.

Princess is a VP of Afiniti, an artificial intelligence software firm. Also, an encourager to various charity firms.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi - The new father

Edo is the son of Alessandro Alex Mapelli- Mozzi, Britsh Olympian and an associate of an Italian noble family, and Nicola "Nikki" Williams-Ellis.

Edo, by profession is an English property developer. Founder and CEO of Banda property, an interior design company. Henceforth, Edo is an Italian Count. Therefore, his wife Beatrice is a Countess and their daughter is “nobile donna.” (Noblewoman)

Marriage Details

The duo got married last July in a very small gathering owing to Covid after postponing their original wedding date in May. The mini-wedding happened at the Royal Chapel of Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Beatrice's younger sister Princess Eugenie gave birth to a lovely son named August in February and is not accoladed with the royal title as Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank is not from the royal family. Royalty is inherited from the male’s family, Edo being the Italian countess his daughter is given the title of royal blood.

Eugenie, the new Aunt congratulated the new parents and stated that she could not wait to meet her sister and is proud of her. They will have a lot of fun by seeing their children growing up together. In the end, she expressed her love to her sister by calling her Euge. With the little age gap between the children it will be a pleasure watching them playing and flourishing mutually.

In a tweet, Beatrice tweeted that she is delighted to share the news of the safe arrival of her daughter, and in another tweet, she thanked the midwives and the whole team at the hospital for the fantastic care.

Edo’s father stated that the duo compliments each other and he has not seen Edo so merrier before, which is very lovable for him.
