The silver and red headpiece of the brand new costume looks totally different from the one seen in the first  Aquaman film released in 2018, and it totally resembles the look of the Black Manta’s helmet seen over the years in Comics. As for the costume, it follows the overall dark blue theme of the film, also seen reflected in Jason Momoa’s superhero characters’ costumed when it was revealed months back.

"This Aquaman, this time around, I feel like we're pulling out all of the stops, buddy," the films’ leading star Jason Momoa said in an interview while discussing the much-awaited film.

"Like, it's... we all learned something on the first one. It's exciting because I haven't made too many sequels, even on the page, it's absolutely wonderful, there is so much going on. I think the stakes are a lot higher, there's a lot of comedy. So, I mean, I giggled reading it," he added.

"I think just in the last three or four years, just technology's constantly... it's just moving at such a rapid pace that what we're doing with underwater... I mean, that's what made the first one so amazing, so, it's just gone on to a whole other level, so I'm excited for everyone. Because it's just a lot more heart. There's a lot more at risk," he further added.

In addition to superstar, Jason Momoa returning to reprise his role of Arthur Curry also known as Aquaman as he previously appeared as the superhero in DC’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice released in 2016, Justice League film released in 2017, and Aquaman released in 2018, Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom also features a star-studded cast of Amber Heard in the role of Mera, Patrick Wilson in the role of Orm Marius / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren in the role of King Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the role of David Kane / Black Manta, Temuera Morrison in the role of Thomas Curry, Randall Park in the role of Doctor Stephen Shin, Jani Zhao in the role of Stingray, Indya Moore in the role of Karshon, Vincent Regan in the role of Atlan, Regan in the role of Graham McTavish and Pilou Asbæk.
