Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ fate still hangs.

Good Morning America anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been in the public eye for a while now, and on everyone's mind since the pictures of their 'secret romance' were published. According to a source, they will continue to stay on sabbatical from GMA3 while the network explores their relationship.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were taken off air last week after ABC News President Kim Godwin sent a memo to the staff that the anchors would be temporarily removed from the show, although they clarified that they had not broken any laws and that the coverage of their romance could be distracting from the incredibly important work their team does at ABC News.

Kim Godwin sent another memo to the staff members on Monday in which she addressed the fact that the duo will remain off-air until their investigation is complete and mentioned that it is her sincere hope that the team will continue to focus their energy on what they do best, and she wished that everyone at the network be aware of the fact that she is very proud of the hard work and professionalism they all put up every single day.

The source stated that the duo, who returned to work to host GMA3 after the news of their relationship went public on November 30th but were later pulled off air on December 5th, have not yet faced any major or serious repercussions from the network and stated that there are no suspensions at all. The insider clarified that the network is just trying to gather more information at this time and investigate their relationship to understand the details before any decisions are made.

The ongoing investigation was also addressed in a memo that Kim Godwin shared with the staff members, and a source mentioned that it was not a special call and it happens every day, but she took the time to address the situation to the staff members, adding that she stated in her memo that even though it is not a violation of policy, she took her time to think about how she would like to work it through and what was best for the network.

Talking about Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, they have not yet commented on their relationship or their marriage separations, and they have taken down their social media handles as well. However, it was reported that the pair had separated from their respective partners in August and that their friendship had taken a romantic turn following their separation. Another report suggested that they had no shame in going public with their relationship since they were not doing anything wrong.

A source shared with Page Six that Amy Robach’s 20/20 co-anchor David Muir wants no part of the drama. They went on to say that he isn't having it since he is the face of the evening news and no information about him ever makes it into the paper because he is such a reserved individual and that nobody at ABC likes how Amy and T.J. handled the situation. According to the insider, every reporter is agitated because of the controversy Amy and T.J. caused, and no one wishes to be associated with the circumstance, especially since Amy and David aren't even that closes.

Another source close to David Muir said that he is just focused on his work and not thinking about the chaos that is happening at the network adding that Amy Robach is also not a fan of all the attention the romance is getting. The source states that Amy Robach is a real hard news journalist who worked extremely hard to get her job at 20/20, and while she has no shame in her romance, she believes it is a massive distraction at the network, and the affair is going to bring her down and shift her public image.

Recently a source shared with Daily Mail that the duo is trying to stay away from each other because they do not want to be captured or seen again together while their relationship is under investigation. Amy and T.J. have separated from their respective partners but they do have their kids involved so for sake of them, they are trying not to be seen together. Amid the duo's absence, ABC's Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos have been temporarily serving as co-hosts of the daytime show.
