Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are married!
According to recent reports, Poosh founder Kourtney Kardashian and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker are now married. The couple tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas on April 4, 2022, at the One Love Wedding Chapel. Marty Frierson, the owner of One Love Wedding Chapel, confirmed the news and mentioned that the wedding took place at 1:45 AM.
Marty Frierson spoke to People magazine and shared that he did not know who he spoke to over the phone until the pair showed up at the chapel. He added that they requested and paid for Elvis Presley and that it was mandatory. The owner called back the couple after five minutes, and the duo arrived at the chapel for their ceremony, which lasted 30 minutes. Marty added that the couple got married, tossed the bouquet, danced to Elvis, and looked in love. The owner mentioned that he was not allowed to click pictures of the newly married couple.
Kourtney and Travis have yet to obtain their official marriage license, and according to sources, the couple in love got married just a few hours after they appeared on the red carpet of the 64th annual Grammy Awards at Sin City’s MGM Grand Garden Arena. But according to TMZ's reports, the couple did get a marriage license before heading to the altar, so the status of the marriage is certainly TBD as of now but even if this was a fun elope to the chapel, marriage is right around the corner for Kravis.
The couple attended the Grammys after-party at Delilah LV, and sources revealed that the two of them were seated at a table in the back and were spotted making out and having a lot of fun. The insider added that the couple who appeared on the red carpet dressed in all-black outfits; Kourtney wore a cutout Et Ochs jumpsuit and sheer opera gloves whereas Travis wore a Givenchy suit and added Tiffany & Co. jewelry, looked madly in love.
Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian in October 2021 with a massive oval-shaped diamond ring that was specifically designed by Lorraine Schwartz. The proposal was a grand one, which was set up at the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel in Montecito, California. The proposal between the two was also shot for Kourtney Kardashian’s upcoming Hulu show "The Kardashians," so the audience could see how Travis swooned Kourtney off her feet.
The proposal setup was romantic; Travis had a red and white floral set up in the shape of a heart by the beach and it looked very romantic. The two were close friends and neighbors long before they started dating, and later, when they started dating, they became obsessed with each other. The source also mentioned that their relationship has been a strong one as Travis treats Kourtney like a queen and wants to do everything with her. The two of them have dwelled completely with each other’s kids and family, which is a great sign and are very happy with how things are going with them.
The proposal was a complete surprise for Kourtney Kardashian, but it was reported that Travis Barker had informed the family members of his lady love about the proposal and they had all been keeping it secret from Kourt. In the trailer released for The Kardashians, it was pointed out that Kourt and Travis desire to have children together and are moving forward with their plan to extend their family.
