Running marathons is a great way to stay fit if you are professionally trained for it and can compete without pulling a muscle. While so many people get inspired seeing others run the whole 24 kilometers, diving in straight to run a marathon with no previous experience can be a bad thing.

And, the Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams learned this the hard way the past week. Being a famous celeb, she had possibly all the better trainers at hand and a regime just enough to furl her in the long run. Yet, the lady had to suffer the consequences of the grueling workout that running a marathon is. Presently, she is hospitalized not more than a week after completing the New York City Marathon.

The star took to share her pitiful plight with her followers after being hospitalized and restrained to bed for a while. Her post read, “Welp, I’ve been here since 9:30 a.m. What a day 🤒.” The reality TV star's Instagram story post featured her in a hospital bed as she shot a video to share it with her followers.

Being hospitalized in the worst sense, the Bachelor Nation celebrity showed that she was in the hospital garb, complete with a face mask. In the 3:01 p.m. ET post, the star, aged 31, also debuted a loud dramatic sigh from the star but without much revelations explaining why she had to be hospitalized. Though, she was completely healthy to run a marathon not a week earlier.

But, a source of Us Weekly shared that the hospital visit and then stay could have to do something with her marathon run the past week. The source said, "Details are unknown at this time, but it is likely related to her marathon recovery."

The star had taken to participate in the long run along with her fiance, Zac Clark. The two finished the extremely long route of the marathon that ran for 26.2 miles as the New York City marathon demanded. Held on Sunday, November 7, the marathon was perceived for each of the participants differently as their interests held. For Tayshia Adams, the run was to support World Vision, a Christian charity that does humanitarian work and provides child relief services. For her fiance, Zac Clark, aged 36, the purpose of the run was to support his Release Recovery foundation.

The couple ran the distance together at the side of each other and finished the gigantic trail for just under five hours. The two had put in tremendous work for the big milestone, and Clarke praised his fiancee for her resolve to get on with the distance. He said that she showed immense dedication while training for the track and also showed pertinacity for her marathon running course.

The day following their big run, Zac Clark took to his Instagram account on November 8. The Monday post dedicated to his fiancee read, “The untold story about @tayshia is one of humility and courage. She would never tell the world how truly inspiring her performance was yesterday at the @nycmarathon, but I will.”

Her Instagram post before she hit the track read:

"LETS GOOOOO! Officially got my bib & officially freaking out haha! Please send prayers & good vibes my way! Any last minute words of encouragement drop em below so I can pump myself up in the am! Further shining spotlight on her mission to bring World Vision to the center stage, Clark said, “Leading up to Sunday she did dozens of interviews where she could have talked about her chronic knee/back pain or her inability to train due to her insane schedule, but instead, she talked about her charity of choice, @worldvisionusa, and how grateful she was for all the support from family, friends, fans, and strangers.”

The couple had been in the run for the marathon for a long while during the months leading up to the marathon and underwent gruesome training to become better adapted to such an extended track. Sharing more about his fiancee's resolve to run the distance, Clark said that in the months leading to the big day, Adam was seriously "allergic to excuses' to not train and could have "bailed" out of the run at any time. Instead, she decided to keep on training and carrying on with it.

The New Jersey native talked about his lady love, “She said she was going to do something, and she did it. No one will remember her ‘time,’ but the fact that she went out and ran (check the hundreds of videos online — there was very little walking) this race in 4 hours and 40 minutes is heroic and shows the power of believing in yourself.”

While this might be the first marathon run for Tayshia Adams, Zac Clark is quite the veteran on the track. The athlete has completed eight marathons before the New York City run and shared his elation to complete one more. He said, “I will be forever grateful to have had a front-row seat to her performance yesterday, as will the thousands of others who cheered her along the way. … The world is a better place today than it was yesterday because of you … KEEP GOING ❤️.”

After Adams was done with her marvelous race, she went on to celebrate with a dinner for Victoria's Secret a couple of days after the run. On November 19, Wednesday event, the star shared her symptoms which would then lead to her being hospitalized. She said,  “When I say that I physically could not walk on Monday and Tuesday, I actually mean I could not walk. It was so incredibly hard.” Evidently, the star went on to dazzle in high heels after her running performance on the Wednesday night outing.

She had also said that she had been feeling "out of it" and "completely drained" after the marathon.
