The Batman will be soon coming back with a sequel!

Robert Pattinson is ready to star as the Caped Crusader once again in the sequel of The Batman where he will be once again defending Gotham City.

The latest plans for The Batman sequel were revealed by Warner Bros. during their CinemaCon presentation on Tuesday the past week. CinemaCon is an annual meeting of theater owners and a trade show. Filmmakers pitch their ideas to theater owners at the festival using film presentations.

This was where The Batman director Matt Reeves his idea for the new The Batman sequel. The director is expected to write the film and helm it. However, he did not share further details about the film, cast, or a synopsis.

The Batman, originally by Matt Reeves, is a film starring Robert Pattinson. It was a three-hour-long superhero flick which released into theaters this March and opened with a massive collection of $134 million.

The ticket sales still account for the best cinema sales in the post-pandemic era and also reached up to another $100 million the following weekend. Spider-Man: No Way Home began with an original $100 million in sales.

Batman has collected 4759 Million until now and is one of the best performing movies at the box office. It is also the best performing movie of this year so far. Since Marvel is coming forward with DoctorStrange, it will be interesting to see how the film fares at the box office.

Batman first made a cinema impact after first being released on HBO Max in 2021. The theatrical release was expected to make a lot of commotion with the audience and did not disappoint. The vengeful tale of the Caped Crusader did well at the box office.

Warner Bros. has decided to keep their movies in a complete theater exclusive run in the first 45 days of the film's release and only then release it on HBO Max. The studio is now working on newer titles like Elvis, which is slated for a June 24 release, DC League of Super-Pets on July 29, Creed 111, this year on November 23, and “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” on December 16.

The Batman starring Robert Pattinson was the origin tale of the billionaire BruceWayne as he started initially as the detective and defender of Gotham city. His campaign against the corruption in the city unveils the layers of rot that were terrorizing the place and also chased Riddler.

Riddler is played by Paul Dano in the film.

The film stars Zoe Kravitz as the legendary Catman in the film, along with AndySerkis as Batman's Butler Alfred Pennyworth. Penguin is played by Colin Farrell, the crime lord in the city, and Jeffrey Wright gets to portray police chief James Gordon.

Batman is also the recipient of a cool 85% Rotten Tomatoes rating and is hailed as a unique approach to the story of the comic hero. The three-hour film is hence immensely enjoyable and is one of the few superhero flicks that broke out of the box and worked with a new concept.

Warner Bros is planning to release Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, starring Jason Momoa, next year on March 17, and The Flash, starring Ezra Miller on June 23, the following year, too.

Another film to get a CinemaCon announcement this year was Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible 7! The global hunt film is now officially revealed to be named "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One."

The official announcement was hailed by Paramount Pictures and was revealed to theater owners at the movie fest. However, Cruise couldn't make it to the fest and was not available in person.

The actor did appear at last year's CinemaCon event where he talked about the incredible stunts that would be a part of the film. The film did not have an official title back then but was slated for a later release because of the pandemic restrictions.

The actor talked that he got to drive a motorcycle off a cliff in Norway when shooting the film. He also said that was the most dangerous stunt he ever performed.

The audience was also treated to the teaser trailer of the film that featured an abundance of stunts along with the thrilling plot of the film. The trailer is yet to be revealed to the general public. The trailer will be made available to the public prior to the theater run of Top Gun: Maverick, which will release in theaters on May 27.

The plot of the film is yet under wraps but it can be expected that Hunt will once again be running against time and fighting the battle to survive along with his trustee operatives and M17 agents. The action flick is chock full of high-tech vehicles, and innovative weapons and may use biochemical weapons too.
