Jennifer Lopez took to her social media to announce that she and Ben Affleck tied the knot on July 16th, 2022 at Las Vegas’ A Little White Chapel, where the couple was surrounded by very close friends and family members. Jennifer Lopez documented the magical evening with her then-boyfriend, now husband, in the latest update of the JLo newsletter.
They did it, the actress-singer said in the opening line of her article, adding that love is also kind, kind, and patient. After twenty years of waiting, Jennifer wrote that everything was perfect. She went on to describe that the pair had flown to Las Vegas and queued up to get a wedding license along with four other couples who had also traveled to Las Vegas, popularly known as the "wedding capital of the world" for their special day.
The singer explained that a young couple from Victorville drove to three hours to be there on their daughter's second birthday stood in front of them and that two men who were standing behind them held hands with each other and each other. The singer said that they were all united in their desire for the world to acknowledge them as partners and for marriage to serve as the conventional and essentially global symbol of their love.
Jennifer Lopez shared the owners of the Little White Chapel gladly stayed open late for a few minutes so the couple could take photographs in a pink Cadillac convertible that was used by the King (Elvis Presley) personally. The couple had just about made it to the chapel by midnight. The singer said that although they were thrilled to have an Elvis-related item at their wedding despite being unable to marry him owing to their late arrival.
She said that the pair read their vows in the Little White Chapel and handed each other the rings they will wear for the rest of their life with the finest witnesses one could imagine, a dress from an old movie and a blazer from Ben Affleck's closet. At the end of the day, it was the most perfect wedding the couple could have envisioned for themselves. JLo revealed that they had a Bluetooth for a little march down the aisle. She recalled the dream that they had been meaning to make come true for a while but had put off.
Jennifer Lopez added Ben and she had all of that and so much more. She said when the love between tow people is genuine, the only thing that matters in a marriage is the commitment to love, care, understand, be patient, loving, and nice to one another. She expressed her gratitude to the Little White Wedding Chapel for allowing her to change in the break room while Ben Affleck did so in the men's facility. The newlywed singer-actress concluded by saying that they were correct to say that all one needs is love and that she is grateful to have that in her life in abundance, as well as a new lovely family of five amazing children and stated that now the two of them have more reasons to look forward in life.

In her JLo document, Jennifer Lopez wrote to her readers that if they hang around long enough, they could find the finest moment of their lives while driving through Las Vegas at one in the morning with their children and their future spouse via the tunnel of love drive-through. She concluded that love is wonderful, maybe the finest of all things, and worth waiting for. She signed off the document with her new name, "With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck."
Ben Affleck is seen in a few photos from the wedding sporting a white suit jacket, a white shirt, a black bowtie, and black slacks, along with a white rose pinned to his lapel, while Jennifer Lopez is wearing a stunning white gown by Zuhair Murad, which she said was taken from an earlier movie.
For the ceremony, the dress had a corset bodice, long sleeves with an off-the-shoulder design in white lace, a sweetheart neckline, and a fishtail train. She wore it with a coordinating veil that had lace trimming. According to a source who spoke with Entertainment Tonight, the couple wed in Las Vegas and had so much fun that they decided it would be great to have a modest, personal wedding with only their family and friends rather than an expensive ceremony.
