1. Bad Hair: 

The movie starts with a young woman who wants to mark her presence in the music industry. She opts for a weave in the pretext of succeeding in her dream of becoming a pop star in the music television industry. Similar to Bad Hair, Rebecca also revolves around young women ensuring that women linked with horror storylines have helped filmmakers generate a lot of money. The story of Rebecca revolves around a young woman who marries a widower Max De Winter (Laurence Olivier), and settles in her house. Well, she is welcomed by the spirit of Rebecca (The late wife of Max De Winter). At the same time, she also has to deal with the house's maid, who is not ready to accept her as the mistress of the house. She also learns that Maxim or Max De Winter is responsible for the murder of his first wife, Rebecca. 

3. Gretel and Hansel:

Finally, the female dominance in our list of best horror movies of 2020 ends here. Gretel and Hansel is a movie based on two siblings who run into the woods when they come to know about the fact their mother has turned mad. They are hungry and starving and starving in the woods. It’s dark and dangerous as both the brothers have to find a way out to stay alive till the dawn. They find a bounty of delicious food left outside an isolated home, and the owner seems to be so friendly, but their happiness doesn’t last long as their entire life turns upside down when they come to know about the fact that the owner is planning something dangerous to harm. 

4. The Lodge:

A lot of fans keep questioning that Lodge is based on a true story? The simple answer is no. Aidan and Mia lost their mother six months ago due to suicide. Aidan and Mia’s father decides to take them on a family vacation to his girlfriend’s lodge. However, their vacation plans turn around when they start experiencing paranormal activities in the lodge.

5. Scare Package:

Chad Buckley, the owner of a small movie shop, loves to stay alone and spend time watching and share stories of horror movies with his one and only customer, Sam. The movie is quite scary as Chad showcases some sinister plans after hiring Sam as his new employee. But soon, we get to know that Chad Buckley is hiding some crucial secrets.
