Billy Porter, an American singer and actor famous for his musical-dramatic series “Pose” and for the role of "Lola" in Kinky Boots on Broadway in 2013, had won many awards, including Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2019. 

He was one of the pioneer actors who became the first gay black man to be recommended and win as the lead actor group at the Primetime Emmy Award.

Apart from his acting career, he is also notable for his distinctive fashion style. Porter’s stylist Sam Ratelle stated in January 2020 that he styled Billy for 150 red carpets, and many of the garments were designed by the actor himself.

On September 20 in Los Angeles at Emmy Award function, he stunned everyone by his impressive and engrossing style in a black one-piece suit with mega layered fan-shaped sleeves.

The actor seemed flying with the black wings and posing in front of cameras confidently and poised in an all-black suit with long sleeve hand gloves and oversized trousers styled by Ty Hunter and Colin Anderson.

He completed the look with the statement Jewellery collection with a diamond and emerald huge neckpiece, diamond bracelets and rings, and diamond ear cuffs.

The actor’s hairstylist Joanna Pensinger kept his look glistening and his hair and beard well-trimmed for the spectacular red carpet at Emmy’s in Los Angeles. 

The actor is recommended for the Outstanding lead actor in a drama series of “Pose” in the same category in 2019 which he was lucky to win the accolade. Also, he will be called on stage to present the award to the winner in the ceremony.

Billy Porter thanked all the major members of the show on Instagram, tagging Mr. Murphy for everything. He also thanked Steven canal, Janet Mock, and the whole Pose series member. He asked all the crew members to catch him at the award ceremony as he will be presenting the show.
