Blac Chyna was cross-examined by the Kardashian-Jenner attorney, Michael Rhodes, as she took the stand in the defamation lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner which she filed in 2017 for $108 million.

During the opening statement, Blac Chyna's attorney Lynne said that Blac Chyna whose real name is Angela White is a hardworking woman who had worked for years to build up her professional and personal life only to have it destroyed by the Kardashian-Jenner family in minutes by interfering with her deals and getting her show canceled along with defaming her online.

Kardashian-Jenner's attorney Michael Rhodes described Blac Chyna as an opportunist who desperately wanted to be a part of the Kardashian-Jenner family but — by no fault of his clients — that never happened.

Michael Rhodes explained that it was not the Kardashians that tried to defame Blac but she did have a reputation of getting involved in arguments and altercations. The lawyer reminded Blac Chyna about an incident where she had allegedly used a stroller as a weapon against someone in Six Flags in 2018, smashed a person's phone, threw a brick at someone, neglected her child while intoxicated, fought ex-boyfriend Kid Buu while in a trip to Hawaii in 2019, threatened her hairstylist with a knife that same year, and held a woman hostage at a Sacramento hotel.

Rhodes also mentioned that in 2015, she was arrested for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport in Texas. The reality TV star did not acknowledge any of these reports but when Michael asked if such reports could hurt her brand she replied yes.

Blac Chyna took the stand and shared the details of the altercation that occurred between her and her ex-fiance Rob Kardashian on the day it was announced that their show "Rob and Chyna" would be renewed for a second season. Blac said that both of them were enjoying each other’s company, which included throwing money and being silly before she added that she tore Rob’s t-shirt while they were playing.

It was noted that at one point, while Rob Kardashian was on a video call with friends, Blac Chyna allegedly held up an unloaded gun that Rob kept on his nightstand, and while describing the incident, Blac said that she was being funny and later added that Rob also thought that the incident was funny.

But during the cross-examination, Blac denied that she had pointed a gun at Rob Kardashian’s head while he was lying on his stomach and was on a video call with friends. She said that he did not try to get away from her because she added that it was a joke on him too and she was playing. She further explained that she did not have her finger on the trigger and the gun was pointed towards the sky and not at him. Michael Rhodes also brought up the incident where it was described that she had tried to strangle Rob Kardashian with an iPhone cord, which she denied and said that she was being playful.

Blac Chyna explained that she was upset about Rob Kardashian accusing her of cheating on him, snooping through her phone, and asking if their daughter was legit his or not, so she tried to get his attention and did not mean to strangle him or cause him any harm when she put the cord around his neck.

Michael Rhodes asked Blac Chyna in front of the jury that she had a gun in her hand but that it was a joke to her? He asked the same thing for the iphone cord as well to which she replied that even Rob thought it was funny. (How?) The attorney also asked her about the damages, and she admitted that she smashed the gingerbread house that was gifted by Kris Jenner, a large TV, and part of Kylie Jenner’s house where Rob and Blac were living at the time.

Chyna further revealed that Rob Kardashian took her phone and locked himself in a closet, and then Kris Jenner’s boyfriend, Corey Gamble, had to direct Rob Kardashian to get his things and leave the house, but she added that he refused to give her the phone back. On the stand, Blac Chyna was asked by Rhodes if Corey had to physically separate the two of them, to which she said no, but then the attorney confronted her with the deposition. She said in February 2020 that Corey Gamble had to take them apart, but on the stand, she said that they did not have any physical contact.

Blac Chyna sued the Kardashian-Jenner family, including Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, in 2017 for defaming her and interfering with the filming of the show "Rob and Chyna", eventually getting it canceled, which had cost her a lot of damage emotionally and financially. Blac is also pursuing the claims of assault, battery, illegal distribution of private materials, and harassment against Rob Kardashian, whose trial will be held in May.

Talking about the second season of the show, Michael Rhodes asked Blac if she had received any written contract or notice from the network that her show has been picked up for the second season to which she replied that she had not received anything but they were still filming. She mentioned that she was paid an additional amount of $370,000 which is equivalent to four episodes' amount and she thought it was for the second season.

Michael also asked her why is she suing the Kardashians for millions of dollars when Kris Jenner had agreed to appear in an Amazon commercial with her daughter Dream that would pay the child about $50,000 to which Blac said that thing has nothing to do with the other.

Rhodes also questioned why Chyna was suing the Kardashians for ‘millions and millions of dollars’ when Kris Jenner - one of the defendants - had ‘done a nice thing’.  She also admitted that she has not filed for tax returns for 2019-2021 but she has all the documents.
