If one claims that Black Adam is the most anticipated superhero film coming to theatres next year, despite many other big superhero films scheduled to be released like The Batman, The Flash, Thor: Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, and many more, it won't be a wrong statement to be made as the long-anticipated film features superstar Dwayne Johnson and Pierce Brosnan and is coming with a lot of expectations from fans and followers.

"When you’re looking at Pierce Brosnan, who is an OG, as best as you could describe it, he just blows you away, from the moment he comes on set, he just elevates everything up. He just is so charming," Hiram Garcia recently explained to The Illuminerdi about what is it that Pierce Brosnan is going to bring to the table in regards to his character Doctor Fate, that he is going to play in the Black Adam.

Garcia added that the 69-year-old Brosnan has such an on-screen presence that he charms everybody and it's such fun to work with him along with all the young cast and crew. "He has such a command of just presence on screen I think the minute he goes on there. And seeing him with all of our young actors as well, it’s so fun to see them just hang with him, get to know him," Garcia continued. "They all became such close friends on this process and were hanging so much offset on downtime. And you could feel that energy and that chemistry when they were on screen. He was such a dream casting."

Garcia went on to discuss how Doctor Fate's time in the JSA will factor into the film and why Brosnan's gravitas was able to help sell the idea that this hero has been around for quite some time. "Doctor Fate is such a special character and he is, in essence -- he and Hawkman -- are the elder statesman in a universe like this," Garcia said. "They’ve been around for a very long time. They both have fascinating histories."

He added saying that Brosnan was perfect to be cast in the role of the superhero Doctor Fate and he almost fits perfectly into the costume of Doctor Fate. "Pierce was able to tap into that weight, that poise that comes with millennia of the wisdom of being Doctor Fate and what comes with that helmet. I think he was able to tap into that in a special way for us. And in the process, you could just feel it lift up the rest of the cast. Because anytime you had James Bond coming in and now he’s stepping in, and now he’s becoming, like you said, Kent Nelson, becoming Doctor Fate, it’s a very cool thing. And the chemistry he was able to create with the actors from that was really special," he added.

While the fans are eager to see Johnson and Boasnan in some hard-hitting action in the film but as of now, they will have to satisfy with the newly released teaser of the film released at the 2021 DC FanDome. Plot details of the film are currently missing. Black Adam is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 29, 2022.
