Speaking in a recent Ringer-Verse podcast, Nate Moore, one of the leading faces working behind the screen for years as the Vice President of Production & Development at Marvel Studios confirms that the much-anticipated appearance of Chadwick Boseman in Marvel Studios Black Panther sequel will not be happening after a lot of discussions that took place within the big minds at the studio, even though the fans were dying to see the late actor once again in the boots of the Wakandian King.

"I will say the chances that you see T'Challa in our... I'm not hedging my bets, I'm being quite honest. You will not see T'Challa in the MCU 616 universe," Moore said, confirming that there is no possibility that the leading actor of Black Panther Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed the titular role of Black Panther also known as King T'Challa in several films that falls into the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as Black Panther released in 2018, Avengers Infinity War released in 2018,unfortunately, died at the age of 44 because of Cancer, after making his last and final appearance in Avengers Endgame released in 2019.

He adds, further explaining that how the cast and crew leading what has now almost become a household brand name Black Panther in itself in the MCU, had a discussion regarding the future of the film series for weeks after the actors’ sad demise and they eventually had to come up with a plan as to how to take the popular franchise forward without the involvement of Boseman. "We couldn't do it. I will say when Chad passed, it was a real conversation we had with Coogler about 'What do we do?' And it was a fast conversation. It wasn't weeks, it was minutes of, 'We have to figure out how to move this franchise on without that character.'"

"Because I think we all feel so much of T'Challa in the MCU on the screen is tied to Chadwick's performance—is what he brought to that role both on and off-screen, I would argue. So, as hard as it is, now we got to figure out what to do because it's a big hole. At no point did we consider recasting him,” Moore continues, elaborating that the unexpected demise of the Marvel actor is something that is very painful and it has certainly left “a big hole” in the hearts of all the people who worked with him in MCU.

He adds, describing what are the implications that the upcoming superhero film is going to have on itself without the inclusion of Boseman. "The challenge for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is telling a story without T'Challa. And I think it's a challenge we're up for and, obviously, we're in the middle of it and we're figuring it out and what we're getting so far is great."

Captain America The Winter Solider producer concludes, stating the various challenges that the film is large to face when it finally makes its way into the theatres after a lot of delays. "But the challenge of the movie is to entertain people, but there will be a level of catharsis in people coming back to this universe without that guy because that guy and that universe are one and the same. As filmmakers and storytellers, you have to figure out how people are gonna feel going into your movie and what you want that movie is going to say about that guy who's not going to be in your movie."

Black Panther arrives in theatres on 8th July 2022.
