Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have responded to Kevin Federline's comments.

Kevin Federline, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, recently commented on the relationship between their sons and the iconic pop star.

During a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Kevin Federline revealed that their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, have decided not to see their mother at the moment and added that it has been a few months since they met her and it was solely their decision not to go to her wedding. Kevin further added that the sons have insisted they still love their mother despite their discomfort about the naked social media pictures their mother has made. He said he had attempted to explain to the lads that perhaps it was a way for Britney Spears to express herself, but he acknowledged that it bothered them and that he couldn't begin to fathom what it must be like for an adolescent to cope with such things while attending high school.

Britney Spears took to her social media to respond to the claims and comments by Kevin Federline and said that it saddens her to hear that Kevin Federline has decided to discuss the relationship she has with her sons publicly and added that, as everyone is aware, raising two teenage boys is never easy for anyone, and what concerns her is the fact that the reason is based on her Instagram. Britney added that it was long before Instagram and she gave her kids everything.

The singer, who recently got married, mentioned that she is hurt and revealed that her mother told her that she should give the kids to their father and she is sharing this today because she can. She later posted a note on her social media where she said that she was kept quiet and had no control over her finances until the end of her conservatorship and pointed out that there was an adverse effect of the conservatorship and fame on her children.

According to Britney Spears' statement, celebrities and the industry they work in may bring anguish and insults, which not only harm her but also her children. Britney pushed Kevin Federline's wife to view the Big Booty Video and said that other artists made it far worse when their children were little. Britney Spears acknowledged that she is only human, that she has done her best, and that she would want to provide her opinion because she can. Britney concluded that she had been in control for over 15 years and added that she deserved to be allowed to pursue her interests.

The Toxic singer mentioned that she should embark on doing way more than going topless on the beach like a baby and stated that she is not surprised that just as her family did interviews, the Federline's will also do their share of interviews and she is not surprised at all towards their behavior and approach to what she has to deal with.

Britney Spears was supported by her husband, Sam Asghari, who shared the same emotions on his social media stories. He wrote that to make it clear that, other than her butt, which he said was modest at the time, his wife has never uploaded a naked selfie online and that all other posts that are "implied" nudity can be seen in any lotion or soap advertisement. Sam went on to say that his claim that the children were separating themselves from him was untrue and that it was reckless to make such claims.

The dancer predicted that when the boys turn 18, they would be mature enough to make their own decisions and may come to see that having a father who hasn't worked in the previous fifteen years has been difficult for them as role model. Sam added that he does not personally know Kevin Federline and has no grudges against him, but he is not going to stand by and watch him disparage his wife. Sam claimed that Kevin Federline's gravy train would soon come to a stop, which is likely the reason such remarks are being made.

Sam Asghari stated that Kevin's attachment to Jamie Spears suggests his acceptance at the time of its invention and that his approval of the brutal 13-year conservatorship also reveals something about his character. He went on to say that behaviors and concerns that are today accepted as normal and can be treated via therapy or other means were changed to justify a 13-year conservatorship, and anyone who supports such modifications is wrong or is somehow profiting from them.

Sam concluded while taking a jab at Kevin that he won’t be commenting on the situation anymore except to say that he has a job and wished Kevin the best and hoped that he has a more positive outlook in the future for the benefit of everyone involved, but for now he urged Kevin Federline to stop talking about Britney Spears.

When Britney Spears and Kevin Federline divorced in 2007, the singer had requested legal custody of her children along with visiting rights for Kevin Federline. However, according to the reports from CNN at the time, the 50/50 shared custody agreement was terminated after it was discovered that Britney Spears had a habitual, regular, and ongoing use of controlled narcotics and alcohol.

Britney Spears was going through her infamous mental health crisis at the same time and was placed under an involuntary conservatorship, with her father overseeing her career and estate, as a result of a string of "instability"-related errors, including the widely publicized head shaving. Britney Spears was awarded 30% of the children's custody in 2019 after a lengthy court battle, while Kevin Federline kept the majority (70%) of the kids. In the same year, a Fox News report said that Spears will relaunch her campaign for the original 50-50 shared parenting arrangement.
