Britney Spears reacts to Millie Bobby Brown’s desire to play her on-screen.

Millie Bobby Brown appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Monday and opened up about her desire to play Britney Spears on screen.

Millie said that she wants to play a real person, and for her, that’s Britney Spears, adding that she thinks that her story first and foremost resonates with her, so she could be a perfect option. The Stranger Things actress clarified that she means that growing up in the public eye, watching her videos and interviews from when she was younger, is the same as you.

The actress continued that she can see the scramble for words in her interviews, and she doesn't know her, but when she looks at pictures of her, she feels like she could tell her story in the right way and only hers. Apart from her amazing acting skills, Millie Bobby Brown founded the beauty line Florence by Mills and has been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 2018.

Millie Bobby Brown previously revealed that she was told she was too "mature" to succeed as a child actor. She explained that she had always known she was mature and couldn't help but think that no one was as mature as she was and that hearing that was very difficult because she thought maturity was a positive thing. And then to be told that it wasn't, that she wouldn't make it in the business, was heartbreaking. The actress stated that she became depressed as a result of this.

The Enola Holmes actress continued that even as a child, she always felt like she didn't quite belong in every room she was in, so she also struggled with loneliness. Millie always felt quite alone in a crowded room, as if she were one of a kind and no one really understood her thus she explained that she preferred playing characters that people could understand and relate to because she felt no one could relate to Millie.

Now, Britney Spears has reacted to the news by sharing a lengthy social media post stating that she is not dead. Britney shared a picture of a door on her social media and captioned it as good news, she is still breathing, adding that she finds it really funny that the same two people who gave her life are the same two people who took it away. She went on to say that she is alive and breathing again and that it's kind of funny that she hears people wanting to make movies about her life but she is alive, even though they preferred her dead. She referred to the two people in her caption as her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears.

Britney Spears mentioned in her caption that she guesses her family is going to lock their doors now. The singer has not shied away from expressing how badly her family has treated her throughout her life, especially since her 13-year conservatorship arrangement was terminated last year. Last month, she lashed out at her mother after she asked Britney Spears to unblock her so she could talk to her, to which Britney replied that she could take her apology and go fuck herself.

Millie Bobby Brown rose to fame after she appeared on-screen as Eleven on Netflix's most popular and successful show 'Stranger Things' and the actress was 12-years-old when she started working. That means she became famous worldwide at a very young age, an experience she believes will help inform her potential portrayal of Britney Spears, who was only an adolescent when her debut single "Baby One More Time" went viral. Millie Bobby Brown is still focused on her secret collaborations with pal Mariah Carey, having recently hinted on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she's already recorded music with the "Elusive Chanteuse" herself.

Earlier this year, during an appearance on The Tonight Show, Halsey gave the young actress her stamp of approval after Jimmy Fallon noted how similar the two of them look. She stated that Millie would be an excellent choice to play her, but she is unsure if she is popular enough to cast Millie. Halsey noted that we have an uncanny resemblance. "Oh no, we genuinely look like sisters," they say. While Halsey may not believe they are popular enough to book Millie Bobby Brown but the young actress certainly believes she is after she posted a story sharing the clip of the interview and wrote she is down for portraying her.
