Britney Spears has been opening up little by little every day.

Pop Icon Britney Spears, who gained freedom in November 2021 after the announcement of the termination of her 14-year-long conservatorship, is not holding back her emotions and feelings towards her family or anyone who did wrong to her.

Recently, the singer shared a post on social media where she mentioned how her mother, Lynne Spears, and sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, loved the drama that surrounded their family at the time and used to scream at the top of their voices from the rooftops. Britney, in her now-deleted post, mentioned that her mother used to argue with a drunken man (probably her father) who could not even talk, and it was Britney who used to suffer because she could not sleep because of the constant voices. She mentioned that the situation was the same for her every night.

The singer detailed that her parents, Jamie Spears and Lynne who should have gone to therapy, dismissed the idea of seeking help when it was essential for their family to seek professional help to get through all the drama. She added that she was extremely embarrassed to talk about her personal life. Those fears continue as she tries to not give out too much about her personal life to the public.

Britney Spears added that she was never the one who could talk about her problems in therapy and likes to believe that people take all of their experiences and feelings to God, which is why she was never able to seek help, but now that her family has broken her to her core, she needs some help in healing up and that is why she seeks therapy to get better. She posted a picture of a rainbow she witnessed in Maui and added that after every storm, there is going to be a rainbow that shows up.

The Toxic singer added to her post that she wants to send her mother and sister a message that when they look at the rainbow, they should understand that their respective memoirs that came out were like a storm in Britney's life but now she is past that and she is a woman now. She concluded the post in a rather angry tone, stating that she is not someone to air dirty laundry and she is not going to sit back and not tell the world what had happened to her. Britney Spears was clear with her words when she said that she is going to speak up and blow the fu****g house down because they have taken it too far with her and she is not done yet.

Britney Spears’ post comes after a day she denounced her mother while reflecting on her movie "Crossroads," which premiered in 2002. She shared in a post that she did a scene in a movie in which she played the character Lucy Wagner, who had fled a sheltered life to reunite with her estranged mother in Arizona. Lucy, later in the movie, realizes that her mother never wanted her and describes her as a mistake.

Reflecting on this particular scene from the movie, Britney drew some real-life comparisons and mentioned that it’s sad that Lucy traveled and struggled so much to find her mother only to find out that she never wanted her, but the scene is still less bad than what her real mother, Lynne, did to her. Britney Spears has expressed her disappointment towards Lynne for giving her father, Jamie Spears, the idea of a conservatorship that lasted for fourteen years and stripped Britney of her freedom.

The pop singer quoted that the most dangerous animal in the world is a silent, smiling woman before going ahead and accusing her mother of putting the idea of conservatorship in her father’s mind. She added that she is never going to get the lost fourteen years back and that Lynne had ruined her life. The singer has previously mentioned that she would like to sue her family, including her brother Bryan Spears and, of course, younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears, but she asserted that she wants her father, Jamie Spears, to be charged with conservatorship abuse and sent to jail. She has mentioned on various occasions that Jamie Lynn Spears did not do anything to help her when she needed her the most.

Britney Spears' act of speaking out about the abuse she endured while under conservatorship has inspired many other women to speak about their experiences with abuse. The singer, who had to face a lot while she was under the "protection" of her father, has claimed that the conservatorship had completely stripped her of her womanhood and she is not going to stop sharing her side of the story until the family receives what they have done.

Britney Spears is constantly trying to get better and heal up from the trauma she has been through, and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, has been very helpful throughout the journey, as he has stood by her side through thick and thin, and been there for her through every bad day. She appreciates his efforts and loves her, and he does the same.
