Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are married.
Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of former football legend David Beckham and designer Victoria Beckham, and fiancé Nicola Peltz, daughter of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner, tied the knot on April 9th, 2022 at the exclusive estate of Nelson Peltz in Palm Beach, Florida.
For the wedding, Brooklyn Beckham wore a traditional black tuxedo from Dior and accessorized his outfit with a diamond lapel chain from Anita Ko, while Nicola Peltz wore a Valentino couture gown with a show-stopping train. Nicola’s mother added an evil eye as a talisman for her daughter, and the wedding gown had long sleeves paired with a delicate lace-embellished veil. For her hair, Nicola Peltz decided to keep the loose, effortless waves, giving the vibes of the 90s era, and her stylist, Adir Abergel, shared that her hair was inspired by Brigitte Bardot’s half-ponytails.
The nuptials of the highly anticipated wedding included a traditional Jewish ceremony where Nicola Peltz’s grandmother, Bunny, served as her maid of honor. Nicola Peltz walked down the aisle to a rendition of "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac, and the newly married bride posted a picture of herself with her father walking her down the aisle on her social media with a caption mentioning a massive thank you to Nelson for making her wedding so special. Brooklyn Beckham’s sister, Harper Beckham, was among the flower girls, and Romeo Beckham and Cruz Beckham served as best men for their brother.
Brooklyn and Nicola got engaged in July 2020 and shared the posts on their respective social media accounts and expressed how much they are grateful for each other and how they cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together. The couple cemented their love with ink as well, where Nicola got Brooklyn’s name inked on her upper back and Brooklyn has had several tattoos in her honor, including one of her late grandmother’s names.
The guest list for the wedding of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz included Gordon Ramsay, Serena Williams, Isabela Grutman, Jordana Brewster, Eva Longoria, etc. One of the things that struck people was how the couple had proven to be dedicated to each other completely, and this time it was with their names changed.
Brooklyn Beckham took to social media to announce that he will now be known as Brooklyn Joseph Peltz Beckham, while his wife will be known as Nicola Peltz Beckham. According to the insiders, the newly married couple danced to Elvis Presley’s classic "Only Fools Rush," performed by South African artist Lloyiso for their first dance and the second song was "Stand By Me." It was also reported that Magician David Blaine and songwriter-singer Marc Anthony were among the ones who performed at the wedding.
The royal family guests, Prince William and Kate, were also invited to the wedding, but due to security reasons, they had to decline the request. Prince William did, however, write back to David Beckham, wishing the newly married couple an abundance of good wishes. According to the reports, Prince Harry and Meghan were not invited to the wedding. It was reported that David Beckham and Victoria Beckham share a long history and strong relationship with the royals, and Prince William and Kate were their choices to be invited to the wedding.
The insiders revealed that during the ceremony, the father of the groom was pretty emotional while giving a speech and shed a tear at one point. David recalled the moment when Brooklyn was born and how he wanted to protect him, going on to describe how he slept on the hospital floor, holding the door shut because he did not want anyone to come in. The sources added that it was a beautiful speech by David Beckham for his elder son, who also welcomed his daughter-in-law into the family and shared that the family loves her and is very excited that she is now officially a part of their family.
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz partnered with humanitarian charity 'Care' and reportedly encouraged guests to make donations in their name to support civilians impacted by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Everybody present at the ceremony were happy and excited for the newly married couple.
