Meanwhile, Raj Kundra and Ryan Tharp, who were both detained in the same case on Tuesday morning, have been placed in judicial detention until July 23. Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday related with a supposed pornography case the investigation of which was in process since February. Property cell discovered later and so the contribution of a UK based production business, Kenrin. Umesh Kamat, an executive with Kenrin, was  also arrested by the police, Raj Kundra's name was presented to the investigation.

He was an employee who used to work for Raj Kundra accused of profiting from distributing minimum  8 "pornographic and obscene" recordings made which credits goes to Gehna Vasisth on a social application.

"There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about creating pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps," Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale said in a statement announcing Raj Kundra's arrest on Monday. "We've arrested Mr. Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this."
