Parenting is one of the most difficult things in the world, especially when both parents work as celebrities, but they take care to spend as much time with their children as possible and keep them out of the spotlight until they are aware of their parents' profession and lifestyle. Celebrity parents deal with the same types of parenting challenges as normal people and thus, they do have some insights to share with the world.

Here are a few celebrity parents who opened up about embracing motherhood/fatherhood.

Kate Hudson is a working parent with two beautiful sons Ryder whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson and Bing whom she shares with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy. In InStyle’s May Issue of 2016, the actress opened up with her struggles of raising two kids and wrote, “I was really young, like, 23, when I had Ryder. So, our relationship has always been [a little unusual]. I mean, we’re close, and I am his mom. I’m big on manners. I’m big on politeness. I’m big on gratitude. But I’m a bit of a wild mom. Some days, I feel like I should win Best Mom of the Day award. And some days, I find myself doing strange things that don’t have any real purpose, in faraway corners in my house, and I realize I am literally and deliberately hiding from my children.” She shares a daughter Rani with fiance Danny Fujikawa

During the pandemic, she opened up about being a stay at home mom and said, “I wanna be, like, ‘Yeah, it's so great and ... we're figuring out,’ but the reality is that there are days that are great, and there are days that I have to remind myself to be grateful. The only expectations I really have that are really high on my life is with my kids and with family stuff. Other than that, it's like, I just let it go. ... I work my a** off, and then I walk away, and I hope for the best.”

Jay-Z also opened up about parenting three kids with Beyonce earlier this year and said, "Feeling loved is the most important thing a child needs, you know? Not 'Here's this business that I'm going to hand over to you, that I'm creating for you.” This comes after Blue Ivy Carter became the second youngest person to ever win a Grammy for ‘Brown Skin Girl'. Jay-Z further added, "What if my child doesn't want to be in music or sports? I have no idea, right? But as long as your child feels supported, and feels loved, I think anything is possible." The Roc Nation founder added that their sole purpose is to make sure that they provide a loving environment for the kids and be attentive towards them. He lastly added, "It's easy for us, as human beings, to want our children to do certain things, but we have no idea. We're just guides."

Halle Berry recently appeared on the cover story for Women’s Health for December issue and shared how her relationship with boyfriend Van Hunt helped her to be a better mother to her two children Nahla Ariela (ex-husband Olivier Martinez) and Maceo Robert (ex- Gabriel Aubry). She said, "I just feel fulfilled. I feel happy in my life romantically, as a mother, as an artist. I'm a much better mother in this circumstance than I would have been had I stayed in a romantic relationship that didn't serve me and didn't make me feel the way I need to feel as a woman. I'm reminded that we always have to take care of ourselves first, because I can't be a good mother for my children if I'm not fundamentally happy and feeling good about myself.” She once said, “For me, motherhood is learning about the strengths I didn’t know I had, and dealing with the fears I didn’t know existed.”

Channing Tatum who shares a daughter, Everly, with ex-wife Jenna Dewan feared connecting with his daughter after the couple announced their separation. He told Parents, "I want dads not to be afraid to go into their daughter's world and discover who they are. When I became a single father, I had a lot of fear about connecting to Everly in every way that a little girl might want. I didn't wear nail polish or know how to braid hair. But now I do both. I jumped with both feet into this magical world, and I was rewarded with a kind of love that I don't think I would have ever been able to have otherwise."

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi shared during an episode of The Nick Cannon Show that becoming a mother at a young age helped her grow up. She said, “Honestly, once I had the kids I was like…‘alright, no more going to Vegas and partying all the time’. I have to take care of my little babies, and I got pregnant at 24, and Me and Jionni were just dating. Lorenzo wasn’t planned, but he’s literally my miracle because he literally made me grow up. Once I became a mom, I realized there’s more to life than just being selfish and partying and going crazy. I love mom life, I love my babies, I have three of them and it is a lot of work. I’m surprised my house is actually quiet right now because my little one is always like screaming and going crazy.” She shares Lorenzo, Giovanna, and Angelo with her husband Jionni LaValle.

Ryan Reynolds said about being a dad to three girls he shares with his wife Blake Lively, "I love being a girl dad. I have three daughters, which I never in a million years would've imagined. I come from all boys. I have three older brothers — I'm the youngest of four boys, so for me to have three daughters has just been such a ride, and I love every second of it. I try to be as present as possible. We don’t split up — like I shoot movies and my wife shoots movies, and we go travel all over the place and we just all go together. I think that’s been the best part of it is that we really don’t spend a lot of time apart. I get to spend a lot of time with my girls.”
