I feel so bad that I'm letting them down, and I'm especially sorry for disappointing all the fans who've been making their plans to come to Las Vegas," she continued. "Now, I have to focus on getting better… I want to get through this as soon as I can."

According to a statement from the singer's medical staff, "Céline has been suffering from severe and ongoing muscle spasms that have prevented her from performing. Her medical team is still evaluating and treating her. However, she is unable to participate in the ongoing rehearsals for the new play due to the symptoms she is suffering."
