Charlie Puth also shares his experience while working with Ellen DeGeneres’ music label.

Greyson Chance recently opened up about his experience while working with Ellen DeGeneres, and now singer Charlie Puth has also joined in to share his experience during an interview with Rolling Stone.

Charlie Puth recalled that he never had a personal problem with Ellen DeGeneres, but he had some problems with her music label. Charlie said that he and Greyson Chance have different experiences, but he does agree with him that no one was present, certainly after the creation of his first demo EP, adding that he is not putting any blame on one specific person but collectively. The singer said that whoever was in the room had just disappeared and he had not heard from anybody.

A source close to Ellen DeGeneres’ team shared that they do not recall any such incident happening as mentioned by Charlie Puth. The singer also mentioned that he never discussed the issue he was facing with Ellen DeGeneres and he never had any kind of issue with her.

Charlie Puth mentioned during the interview that people label Ellen DeGeneres as rude, but he has never experienced any rude behavior or anything like that, adding that maybe she just likes him. The 30-year-old singer recently released his new album, "Charlie," and appreciated that the entire experience he had with the former host was like a blessing in disguise for him, as he was so inexperienced at the time that he was glad those songs never saw the light of the day. Charlie Puth said that he had never heard those songs again, but he did know how good they were.

Charlie Puth and Emily Luther signed with Ellen DeGeneres eleven eleven after she saw their cover of Adele's "Someone Like You" on their YouTube channel in 2009. The label was founded in May 2010 by the Emmy Award-winning talk show host Mike Hamlin, and it was defunct by 2012.

Greyson Chance had a very unique dynamic with Ellen DeGeneres, claiming that she neglected him after the label decided to sign him in 2010 and that she was supervising until he underperformed, at which point she became detached and eventually dropped him. Greyson Chance stated that he has never met anyone who is more deceitful, self-centered, and openly self-interested than she is. However, he indicated that he understands that several people will have a lot to say about the article and that he may seem too ungracious for her efforts in the beginning when, in fact, he is grateful to her for giving him a start.

Greyson went on to say that even though he is grateful for Ellen, he is more grateful to himself for the times when he was a kid and everything went wrong. He is grateful to the 15-year-old him who picked up the pieces and kept going and fighting and is constantly inspired by people who tell the truth and muster the courage, to tell the truth when it's difficult, inconvenient, and painful. The singer added that it is the reason why he did it: he needed to tell the truth, and it's now finally out there.

According to a source close to Ellen, the team went above and beyond to help set him up for success, but in business, that doesn't always work out, and his career never took off. Chance's allegations against Ellen DeGeneres come two years after she was accused in two BuzzFeed exposés of creating a toxic work environment at the show. She then delivered a monologue in which she addressed the accusations and apologized to the "people who were affected."

Meanwhile, Greyson had just released Palladium, his latest LP, which he described on Instagram as "forcing him to look dead in the eyes of his past and reconcile with everything he went through as a kid. The singer added that he feels a tremendous weight lifted off his shoulders now that the truth is out, he can go to bed tonight feeling so much love and support from you all.

Ellen DeGeneres had not yet commented on the situation.
