Cher recalls suffering a miscarriage at the age of 18.

The American singer, actress, and television personality, Cher, took to social media to recall her multiple miscarriages as a young bride to Sonny Bono. She shared in her tweet that she suffered from three miscarriages, and the first one was when she was merely 18 years old.

She stated in a tweet that she had three miscarriages when she was younger, the first of which occurred when she was 18 and was alone when it happened. Her former husband Sonny Bono, arrived home to find her weeping and rocking on the floor. Cher said that she was wailing in agony and unable to even stop in the elevator when they got to the doctor, who instead rushed her straight to the hospital to the operation room. What would happen to her today, she asked in her final tweet?

Cher welcomed two children, Chaz Bono with Sonny Bono, and Elijah Blue Allman with her second husband, Gregg Allman, who passed away in 2017. In an interview with Parade magazine in 2010, the singer and television personality talked openly about the difficulties she had while carrying Sonny Bono, characterizing the experience as a nightmare. The fetus is spontaneously aborted, according to Cher, who added that the phenomenon is known as an "angry uterus" at the time.

When she was pregnant for the third time, Cher admitted to Parade magazine that it was a nightmare for her, especially when people would congratulate her and then discover she wasn't pregnant, at which point they would say, "They are sorry." She continued by saying that she believed she did not want to hear this from anyone else any longer. A lot of fans commented under her tweet showcasing their support and love while some pointed out that they had no idea that she had to go through so much to which she replied that she never thought she will ever share it with the world.

In reaction to the recent United Nations Supreme Court decision to reverse Roe v. Wade, which put an end to the constitutional right to access abortion cases, Cher's memories and experience of miscarriages were brought up. Cher responded to an Occupy Democrats account on Twitter that stated that a pregnant lady was unable to seek a divorce in the red state of Missouri after her husband had an affair because she was pregnant after sharing her experience with miscarriages on social media.

Cher retorted that because women are in pain, they will either bleed out in front of physicians or be sent home until their complications are so severe that they are in danger of dying. In another tweet, she said that women would bleed to death and die while some old white republican males decided what medical care a woman deserved if the senate and congress were to be controlled by Republicans.

In reaction to the Roe v. Wade ruling from a month ago, the House of Representatives reportedly passed two pieces of legislation on Friday that would safeguard universal access to reproductive healthcare, including abortion.

The Ensuring Women's Right to Reproductive Freedom Act, which was approved 223-205, protected a patient's freedom to travel across states to receive abortion care. Another law, the Women's Health Protection Act, which was approved 219–210, would give healthcare professionals the freedom to perform abortions and patients the freedom to do so, despite several state restrictions. Both pieces of legislation were approved by the Democratic-controlled House, but it is doubtful that they will be approved by the Republican-controlled Senate.
