The Casper star, Christina Ricci amazed her followers by announcing her pregnancy with her second child on her Instagram story with an image of her ultrasound with a caption of “Life keeps getting better”

The exciting disclosure comes after one year when the actress was permitted the governing order against separated husband James Heerdegen amongst the charge of domestic violence. The star and the producer got married in 2013 after meeting on the sets of Pan Am. Soon after they welcomed their first child Freddie, now six-year-old.

Her hairdresser and admirer Mark Hampton hinted that he is the father of the child and posted the picture of sonogram clicked by himself and calla himself a Daddy Shark Hampton is a hairstylist and a makeup artist who has worked with Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, Carey Mulligan , and Grimes and many bigwig brands like the Banana Republic and Hugo boss.

Hampton was congratulated by the British supermodel Jourdan Dunn on an Instagram post for becoming a father. He also styled the hair and makeup of Elon Musk's  partner Grimes for a V Magazine fashion shoot. One of his spectacular works included articles for Dazed , and confused, Q-Magazine, Elle and Vogue. He has also worked for many fashion shows for Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Calvin Klein.

In April 2021, Ricci and James concluded preventive custody after a controversial accusation of abuse from both sides.

The paperwork was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court in May and the agreement was passed in the favour of Ricci, empowering the actress with the custody of their son.
