Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards, who has two kids with actor Charlie Sheen; Sami, 17, and Lola, 16, claims that she was 'blindsided' when the court ruled out that her ex-husband no longer has to pay her child support. The actress was caught off-guard with the decision to which the 56-year-old , Charlie said, "If [Denise] has a problem, she should go to the courthouse and talk to the judge.”
Two years ago, the actor famous for his role as 'Charlie' on Two and a Half Men filed a petition to alter his child support. "The actor kept pushing the dates, Denise kept pestering him about the date, but he ignored her. He postponed it because he didn't want records of the child support he was giving to Brooke [Mueller] to have an impact on the case after he agreed to give them both the same amount. Denise was taken aback when it happened when she was filming out of town. He caught her off guard, and now he is manipulating the situation," a source said.
The actress had known about the four dates for months, according to an insider source. The decision of Charlie being ruled out to pay any child support to Denise comes after Sami, a month ago claimed in a TikTok video that she had moved out of her mother's house.
Sami expressed her dissatisfaction with being 'stuck' in an 'abusive' environment. The 17-year-old in her video, (which is now private), claimed that she went “days without eating or sleeping” and was depressed while living with her mother. She hated school and became more depressed after the alleged abuse.

"Finally moved out of the terrible house, had a spiritual awakening, own two kitties, happy single, full of self-love, and dropped out of high school," Sami wrote later. It was assumed that she had moved in with her father. On behalf of Charlie Sheen, his publicist, Jeff Ballard said, "Sam is great. I adore her, as well as all of my children. We're having a great time. GED, here we come." The younger daughter, Lola, lives with both parents. Lola stays with her father when Denise is out of town, and is going to live with Denise when she is back.
Following the verdict, a source stated that the scenario is frustrating but not surprising for the RHOBH actress. She is not surprised with the fact that Charlie Sheen is attempting to push the daughters against their mother, which is horrible. Denise just feels concerned and sad about the entire situation because she loves her daughters a lot and want the absolute best for them.
Aaron Phypers, Denise' second husband who had been extremely patient with both Lola and Sami, and loves them a lot is also currently 'heartbroken' for his wife. He is saddened by the entire situation because his wife is concerned and worried about her daughter's future.
"Everything [at Charlie's house] is a big party," he says. "There isn't any homework to be done. It's all about ice cream and movies, as well as staying up late. Over there, there isn't the same organization as here. It's a lot more enjoyable than sitting at home, finishing school, and engaging in typical social activities with your pals." Elosie Joni, the couple's 10-year-old daughter, is their only child who was adopted after Denise split up with Charlie.
Denise Richards is claimed to be a divorced parent who is distressed by the situation and to be dealing with a rebellious teenage daughter. According to another source, where there are 'restrictions' and 'boundaries' when living with Denise, there are none at Charlie's house, and as a result, Sami moved in with her father.
"Denise established the kinds of rules that any parent would establish. She is a mother and as a parent she must follow the rules which Sami refused to follow. But things at Charlie's home is different because he has a different approach to parenting, so she moved in with him."
In a 2019 interview with PEOPLE, the actress explained that her daughters will probably tell everyone that she is a strict parent. "I absolutely have rules and boundaries, and there are repercussions," she shared that she cannot just let the girls do "anything they want." The actress also revealed during the interview that she had installed security cameras outside her house to keep Sami away from meeting boys without permission.

According to tabloid reports, Charlie Sheen shared that he has had complete custody of both Lola and Sami since April and Richards owes him money. According to Pedrick, Charlie 'overpaid' Denise on his child support for so long, but he is not attempting to reclaim those funds. However, a source close to Denise, has claimed that Sheen has not paid the actress any child support in 'at least four years.'
Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards met on the sets of 'The Good Advice' in 2000, and were married from 2002 to 2006. Denise had filed for a divorce in the end of 2005 when she was six month pregnant with Lola but after her birth, the couple reconciled for a brief period of time. The actress later accused Charlie Sheen of prescription medication abuse, violent behaviour, gambling, and use of pornography. Their marriage was over for good in 2006.
Denise Richards filed a lawsuit against Charlie Sheen in 2016, alleging that the actor had violated a trust he had established for the future of the children and had sent them obscene texts about her. Charlie informed the TMZ, that the lawsuit was a 'desperate attempt to gain more money.' Charlie Sheen is also father to twin sons, Bob and Max, 12, with his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, and daughter Cassandra Estevez, 36, with Paula Profit.
In court documents filed in 2019, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has claimed that Sheen owed her $450,000 in back child support and that Charlie had "squandered over $24,000,000 from the sale of his Two and a Half Men earned money to pay out his personal debts and to support his extravagant lifestyle at the cost of the child support payments."
Richards paid tribute to Aaron Phypers on Father's Day earlier this year, writing a post on Instagram, "You're our Eloise's best dad ever. It's not easy to be a stepparent, either. Thank you for always being there for us gals. Thank God for our boy fur babies, who serve to balance out all the estrogen in our house; we adore you, baby."
Any representatives of Denise or Aaron has refused to comment on the matter as of now.
