Director James Gunn Teases Suicide Squad Actors Appearance In His Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3

Director James Gunn has recently revealed the likelihood of The Suicide Squad actors appearing in the Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. The filmmaker teased the cross-over of actors from the DC movie into the MCU for his upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. When the director on social media was asked about the possibility for shared actors and actresses between the two blockbusters, James Gunn did not provide any particular Information or plan, but he simply replied, "That is a distinct possibility."

The filmmaker, when it comes to bringing actors from one superhero franchise to another, he has already done that when he took the star cast from Guardians of the Galaxy and put them in The Suicide Squad.

The pre-production of James Gunn's MCU project Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 as confirmed by the director is well underway. Recently, he also revealed some storyboards that he assembled when he was trying to hammer out his vision for the film. Plot details for the movie as of now is unknown but these storyboards do provide a vague story for the film. The star cast includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, and Bradley Cooper. Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will release in theaters on May 5, 2023

The film is a follow-up to 2016's Suicide Squad and is the tenth film in the continuously expanding DC Extended Universe. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is directed as well as written by James Gunn. The complete cast of the film has Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, along with Joel Kinnaman, Sylvester Stallone, Viola Davis, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Michael Rooker, Jai Courtney, Peter Capaldi, Alice Braga, and Pete Davidson. The Suicide Squad is currently streaming at HBO Max.
