While Marvel Studios The Eternals is breaking records at the box office around the world despite being heavily criticized, since its release in theatres on 5th November 2021, film writers Matthew 'Kaz' Firpo and Ryan Firpo while recently making an appearance at an interview said that Thanos’ brother, Starfox is the one responsible for the Mad Titan’s actions during the events of Avengers: Infinity War.

“We were actually, like, powerfully familiar with the crazy Thanos origin story, which I'm pretty sure is full-blown Greek myth where he, like, killed his own mother I wanna say... It's been a little bit since I read those arcs, we did a deep-dive into Thanos,” Kaz Firpo told Screen Rant during the interview when asked if there was any thought given by them at any point in time to introduce Thanos’ dad, A’lard in the superhero epic.

Ryan Firpo replied, “She rejected him.”

“Yeah, he was born from an Eternal and raised as a Deviant, and he's sort of caught in between the two, so there is a lot of... again, that early connective tissue,” Kaz Firpo added, explaining about Thanos’ brother Starfox and how he in Marvel Comics looks similar to Eternals as oppose to Thanos who looks more identical to Deviants because he of his Deviants gene. But I think, for the sake of this movie as a film, we really just decided to tell this story, and maybe when we get out into the cosmos you might... I mean, we're literally meeting Thanos' actual brother at the end of the film, and I think there's room for Eros - well, Harry [Styles] - to have a conversation about that.”

He continued, “I think that Starfox is a lot responsible for why Thanos is the way he is, to have that... all jokes aside, to have this perfect brother who can make anyone fall in love with him? It does something to you. So I hope we get to see a little bit more of that in Number 2.”

Along with Matthew 'Kaz' Firpo and Ryan Firpo working on Marvel Studios The Eternals as the film writer, the movie when it comes to a huge and diverse cast it doesn’t let anyone down as it features Salma Hayek in the role of Ajak, Angelina Jolie in the role of Thena along with Brian Tyree Henry in the role Phastos, Richard Madden in the role Ikaris, Gemma Chan in the role of Sersi, Lauren Ridloff in the role of Makkari, Lia McHugh in the role of Sprite, Kumail Nanjiani in the role of Kingo, Barry Keoghan in the role of Druig, Don Lee in the role of Gilgamesh, Kit Harington in the role of Dane Whitman with additional actors such as Harish Patel, Haaz Steiman as Phastos' husband, Ozer Ercan as a smuggler and Zain Al Rafeea in an unknown role.

Eternals serves as the twenty-sixth entry in the superhero-based franchise Marvel Cinematic Universe, directed by Oscar-winning director Chloe Zhao, who previously worked on projects such as Nomadland.
