Vanderpump Rules was not short on drama in its ninth season. The Bravo show featured a lot of oomph just the past season, and to add to the flavor, the cast of the show recently had a reunion with the executive producer of the series, Andy Cohen

The Glitter Every Day author shared an Instagram Story with Lisa Vanderpump showing that they all have come together for an epic reunion. “We’re shooting the Vanderpump Rules reunion today. Look who’s here,” said the author in his Friday, December 3, post where he stood along with Lisa Vanderpump. “It’s all happening, isn’t it, to quote Scheana Shay," continued the host.

The reality TV star, Lisa Vanderpump, aged 61, added her own thoughts to the post, saying, “I know, and I haven’t been on Watch What Happens Live for a while, have I?” to which the host retorted, “I know, you’re blowing me off. What’s happening there?” The duo went on to have a full-fledged flirtatious conversation as Lisa asked, “Don’t you wish?” and Cohen could only add, “Oh, the night is young.”

Another cool Instagram story video was shared by Brock Davies, the fiance of Scheana, who captioned the story clip: "Reunion time." The couple had a cute moment in the video as he appreciated his lady saying, “Um, excuse me guys, get with the memo! Honey, come on, give me something. Oh, you look good on this side.” The reunion is going to feature many of the cast members from the show.

The series' ninth season debuted on Bravo in September. The show had begun its shoot in May, with the cast looking more different than ever. The show's original cast members, Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, and Stassi Schroeder, had left the show as the eighth season finished. Notably, Stassi, Kristen, Max Boynes, and Brett Caprioni were fired from the series following the surfacing of their many racial comments as of June 2020. On the other hand, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright bid adieu to the series as the couple welcomed their son into the world.

The cast being cut-short was essentially a thing that the show makers had to contend with. Tom Sandoval told Us Weekly this September before the ninth season had aired, "When you go from having, like, 20-something castmates to basically 12, it’s an adjustment, but I think it’s good because we have the time, we can go a little bit deeper with each person versus having to kind of skate on the surface. I mean, at one point last season, they were splitting the screen and stuff."

He added, “Sometimes things have a tendency to slip through the cracks when you have so many castmates that are actually really important aspects of our lives, but when you have a little bit less, we’re more involved. It’s deeper. And I actually really liked that change.”

Lisa Vanderpump, who has also graced the sets of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, shared her own experience from the season, adding what makes it a great watch. She said, “As always, it’s very well-produced, because there’s a lot of content, there’s a lot of great music, there’s a lot of great visuals.” The reality TV actress added, “But it also moves very quickly. This show’s never been for the fainthearted!”

The SUR restaurant owner also talked about seeing many of the castmates growing up on the sets of the series and took fans down memory lane as she shared some of her nostalgic memories. Lisa said, “I think I’ve seen Ariana grow up,” Lisa explained. "I’ve seen Sandoval.  Schwartz is still very much a puppy dog. I’ve seen a lot of maturity in some of them, for sure, because a lot of them have worked for me for years prior to being on the show." Adding that they have become responsible adults, she said, "So, just to see them taking chances — I mean, they’ve bought their own houses, they have a modicum of responsibility in having children. So yeah, there’s been quite a lot of growth.”

When Is the 'Vanderpump Rules' Reunion?

The reunion episode has already been shot as of December 3, but a premiere date has not been announced as of now. Vanderpump Rules stars congregated around a Los Angeles soundstage, where they met the host, Andy Cohen, as revealed by many of the casts' Instagram stories.

Who will star in the coming reunion?

The reality TV star and restaurant owner will be entering the reunion with many of her co-stars from the series and her employees from the business to spill some fancy tea. Amongst them will be Scheana Shay and her fiance, Brock Davies, Raquel Leviss, James Kennedy, Tom Sandoval, and Ariana Madix. The behind the scenes pictures and videos have revealed that these stars would come together to talk about their good old days on the series.
