Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard split after four years of marriage.
According to reports the actress and model, Emily Ratajkowski and film producer, Sebastian Bear-McClard have decided to go their separate ways after being married for four years. The couple shares a one-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo.
According to a source close to the pair, Emily Ratajkowski made the decision to end their relationship, but she is currently doing well, staying strong, and concentrating on their baby. The model loves being a mother to their kid, wants to put her health first, and is eager to file for divorce, the insider continued.
The former couple sparked the rumors of romance back in 2018 on Valentine’s Day when they were spotted kissing, and the same month, it was reported that they were secretly married at the New York City courthouse. Confirming the rumor, Emily Ratajkowski presented a massive two-stone engagement ring with square-cut and pear-shaped diamonds paired together on what looks to be one band on her social media. She also wore her wedding band with it. The couple welcomed their son, Sylvester Apollo, in March 2021 and have often kept a low profile throughout their marriage. Emily Ratajkowski also mentioned Sebastian Bear-McClard when she appeared on Busy Tonight, where she revealed that the couple had been friends for a long time before they decided to take their friendship to the next level.
On her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Emily Ratajkowski said that Sebastian Bear-McClard had proposed to her at the Minetta Tavern but had forgotten to bring a ring. When she said, "Nah," he created a ring out of a paper clip, which she found to be incredibly lovely. After purchasing an ounce of gold from New York City's Chinatown district in the hopes of having it melted and transformed into rings, the couple resorted to an Israeli jeweler to create their wedding bands.
The model actress said that when they got to the designer's studio, they used a tiny blow torch to hammer out their wedding bands. It was intended to be a temporary ring, but she had become extremely connected to it and didn't want to get rid of it, almost like it was too personal for her. Speaking of her low-key wedding, Emily Ratajkowski revealed that she and her husband shared this desire. She donned a black hat and a yellow Zara suit as part of her strategy to blend into the background.
While speaking with Jimmy Fallon, Emily Ratajkowski said that Sebastian Bear-McClard was wearing a white jumpsuit, yet they were seen. However, when the ex-couple got married, Emily Ratajkowski said to Entertainment Tonight that constantly saying "husband" sounds annoying and somewhat enjoyable. After the model was spotted running errands sans her wedding band, Page Six was the first to reveal the rumors of their breakup.
The ex-couple were very outspoken about their pregnancy and their refusal to reveal the gender of their unborn child. She explained that when people inquire about their preferences, they simply respond that they won't know until their child is 18 and that when that time comes, they will reveal their identity. The truth is, as Emily noted in her piece, they ultimately did not know who not what was growing within her belly. The possibilities that this fact raises are far more complex than the genitalia that their child may be born with. Who will this person be? What kind of child are we going to raise? How will they change who we are and the course of our lives? were all sorts of questions that came to her mind more that the gender of the child.
The model went on to say that she disliked it when people just imposed gender-based stereotypes on others, pleaded with parents to leave their children alone, and declared her desire to be a parent who would permit her child to express themselves to her. Emily concluded that, despite her best intentions, her child will inevitably have to deal with the limits and constructs of gender before they can talk or, god forbid, even be born.
She said that the day Sylvester Apollo was born was the most amazing day of her life and noted that he has provided her with more love and enchantment than she could have ever dreamed. The former couple just celebrated Sylvester Apollo's first birthday. She posted a few images from his adorable birthday celebration and said that she and her husband enjoy being his parents. With a heartfelt ode, Emily Ratajkowski dedicated her book, 'My Body', to Sebastian Bear-McClard and their baby as she thanked her husband, for showing her how transforming love can be. To her son Sly, to whom the entire book is dedicated as she wrote it while he was growing inside of her and hoped that she would become the best version of herself for him.
The reason for the split has not been confirmed yet but it is being said that the alleged rumors about Sebastian Bear-McClard cheating on Emily has been the one that pushed her to pull the plug, and both Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard’s representatives have not responded to the news of their split.
