Meghan Markle’s comments do not sit right with former models of 'Deal or No Deal'.

Fellow former briefcase model Donna Feldman recently denied remarks made by Meghan Markle on how she felt like a bimbo during her stint on ‘Deal or No Deal in 2006. Meghan Markle, on her podcast Archetypes, shared with Paris Hilton that she felt objectified while being on the show, and she ended up quitting the show, claiming that she did not like feeling forced to be all looks and little substance.

Donna said that she does not genuinely think she or anyone else on the show was ever treated like a bimbo and told the New York Post that everybody else knows what they are getting themselves into when they are recruited as a briefcase beauty. She added that while her public persona has provided her with ample opportunities in her career, it is her brains, character, and willingness to work hard that have helped her finish the deal, approve the final projects, and convince clients to continue hiring her regularly.

According to the former briefcase model, it is up to a woman to decide whether an experience will encourage her or end up serving as an excuse to try to get attention. Donna admitted that women were evaluated purely on their appearance, but she also stated that this was a minor element of the job that helped her and other briefcase models book other gigs. She admitted that it was not the best feeling for any of the women's self-esteem, but she reminded them that they were employed for their professional competence and optimism, and she concluded that she did well for someone supposedly hired to be a "bimbo."

She told Fox News that she never felt like a bimbo because she knew that working with people like Howie Mandel would only lead to bigger and better things for her. Of course, she added that there are some drawbacks, such as having to stand in high heels for long periods but that was part of the job she had agreed to. Donna added that it's important to note, however, that each person has their own encounter, and she can only talk on her own.

Patricia Kara, another model who has appeared on every episode of the show, mentioned that she does not remember ever being treated like a bimbo but did mention that she does remember Meghan Markle being nice and quiet but mostly keeping to herself.

Patricia expressed regret that not all people can find true happiness in the things they choose to do, noting that she is the sole model who has appeared in all three versions of the show. The model recalled that she always found herself among a group of hard-working people, powerful, independent women who found greatness in the entertainment world. She also clearly stated Meghan Markle's comment about a padding station, asserting that the padding station never existed during her time on the show.

Earlier this week, former reality show star Claudia Jordan used her social media to refute Meghan Markle's claims, stating that, to be clear, getting a modeling gig on a game show is not necessarily about someone's intelligence, but that the executive producers chose 5 models with the highest easygoing and fun personas to place microphones on who they knew will indeed engage with the people on the show.

Claudia stated that her time on the show from 2005 to 2009 aided her in advancing her career, and she stated that she enjoyed her time on the show because it was a rung on the ladder she has been climbing for the past 25 years that paid her bills. In conclusion, she stated that "Deal or No Deal" never treated any of the models like bimbos and that the show provided them with numerous opportunities, adding that the type of opportunity is what they make it. She added that if models just show up and don't engage, they'll probably check out and not get much out of it, but if they show up and seize the opportunities provided or that come along, there's no limit to what models can do.

Whoopi Goldberg responded to her comment earlier this week, saying she is a TV baby. What on earth did she think she was getting herself into? Whoopi wondered if Meghan Markle had realized what the show was about. She mentioned that she is now actively trying to misguide us as to whether she enjoyed it. She was having a great time.
