Friends is a series based on the journeys of six friends in their mid-twenties living their life in the city of Newyork. Millennials and the genX have quite cherished it. However, many annoying etiquettes have been hidden in the comedy by the characters. One of them was Joey (played by Mac le Blanc). Adored by endless fans, Joey is a guy everyone wants to be with. However, as a character, Joey lacks courtesy for the most part, as signified by these points.

#Sore Point 1

Firstly, he never repays the amount taken from others. During the show, we have seen friends helping each other moneywise. In Joey's life, Chandler was that one friend who was present in his thick and thin. However, Joey took a hefty amount of money from Chandler but never returned. Pretty, bleh?

#Sore Point 2

Joey's character resembles a womanizer and love-struck dumb. But he never respected women as depicted in the show. We have seen how whenever his girl roommate has a boyfriend; he throws most of them out.

He is miserable in conveying advice to his students and best friends. Joey tells his pals to cheat on their partners only if the other one is seductive. Also, in the episode where Joey becomes a teacher, he failed to teach appropriately and ended up competing and misguiding his student.

Joey is not so much of a baby lover as well. In the episode where Emma loves hugsy (Joey's most-liked penguin toy), he tried to snatch away the toy without thinking about the baby's feelings. Not so good, eh?

Joey has changed identities often to get involved with different women. He used other names, so the ex doesn't find him. It is illegal to use a fake identity for any reason.

Remember the episode where Ross compared Rachel and Julie? While Ross was a douchebag, Joey was no less. His method of demonstrating the benefits and flaws of Rachel and Julie was quite awful. He assisted Ross in making a disrespectful list of Racheal and Julie to find out the best match for Ross.

He displayed himself as a terrible pal on many events such as marriages, dangerous events, and others. One of them was when he stood in front of Ross to protect his sandwich from the gunshot but not him.

Although Joey has many flaws that the viewers did not know before, he manages to grab a positive response from fans.
