Singer Claire Elise Boucher or popularly known as Grimes split from SpaceX CEO Elon Musk a month ago, was recently trolled for reading Karl Marx's "Communist Manifesto" during a casual stroll through downtown Los Angeles in a totally on-brand, post-apocalyptic chic costume.

The Communist Party's beliefs and platform are outlined in Karl Marx's "Communist Manifesto," whose goal is to establish a socioeconomic system based on the ideals of common ownership of the means of production and the removal of social classes, money, and the state.

Grimes' first public appearance since the couple's split was reported as a casual stroll. Elon Musk eclipsed Jeff Bezos to become the world's richest person just days before the photos were taken. Grimes used social media to share the news that had been published in a tabloid, explaining that she was aware that she was being taken with the Communist Manifesto book and had consciously considered what she could do to make a ridiculous headline about her.

"I was really stressed when paparazzi wouldn't stop following me this week, but then I realized it was an opportunity to troll," she wrote in an Instagram post.

"Full disclosure I'm still living with E, and I am not a communist (although there are some very smart ideas in this book - but personally I'm more interested in a radical decentralized UBI that I think could potentially be achieved through crypto and gaming, but I haven't ironed that idea out enough yet to explain it. Regardless, my opinions on politics are difficult to describe because the political systems that inspire me the most have not yet been implemented). Anyway, if paparazzi keep chasing me, perhaps I will try to think of more ways to meme - suggestions welcome!” Grimes continued.

Grimes also mentioned that her publicist must be stressing out right now and she should stop doing impulsive and controversial things, but her friend had the book and in no time the pictures were out. The singer also said that she might regret this later but for now have fun.

The singer went on to say that she had stopped worrying about whether people liked her socially or not. “Worrying about making people cringe is the enemy of art, and failure tolerance is necessary for creativity. It's fine to choose not to get enraged by individuals who are having a good time,” she continued.

Last month, the singer and the SpaceX founder announced their separation, with their first child, son X A-Xii, due in May 2020. Elon revealed the news, saying that the pair is "semi-separated but still loves each other, sees each other frequently, and is on good terms." Currently, they are living in the same house but are working in different fields. ‘It’s principally that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or touring abroad and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjoining room,’ he stated in his statement.

"I'll be colonizing Europa separately from Elon for the lesbian space commune," the Canadian musician had previously joked about founding a lesbian colony. The remark appears to be referring to Musk and SpaceX's $178 million NASA contract to assist them in reaching Jupiter's ice-crusted moon, Europa, to investigate if it is livable. 79 moons surround the planet.

The 33-year-old singer stated that she wants to assist Elon Musk in colonizing Mars, and that she would relocate to the planet at the age of 50 to work in physical labor until she died. “But perhaps that can change,” she continued. Elon Musk's business, SpaceX, is on a mission to deliver humans to Mars by 2026.
