Starring superstars like Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld, with the former, once again returning to reprise his role of Clint Barton as he was also previously featured in the superhero-based franchise MCU’s several other blockbuster like 2012’s Avengers and 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, as the former member of the earth’s mightiest superhero team Avengers, who were seen protecting the universe from the threat of the Mad Titan Thanos in studios two superhero flicker Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame released respectively in 2018 and 2019, Marvel Studios produced Disney+ series Hawkeye, while it slowly approaches its release date, a brand new detail from its director Rhys Thomas himself has now hit the fans, the 42-year-old Marvel filmmaker and producer reveals that the sister-like figure Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova  to the original version of Black Widow also known as Natasha Romanoff, a former member of Avengers and a well-trained agent of S.H.I.E.L.D played by Scarlett Johanson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be returning in his upcoming series.

"I can't speak to that. But yes, we know their past, and obviously what happened in Endgame. We know in these first two episodes that Clint's dealing with the fallout of that," Thomas told GamesRadar+ during a conversation in a recent interview, confirming Black Widow's Yelena Belova appearance in the show, even though the post-credit scene of the Cate Shortland directed Marvel Studios Black Widow released in July of 2021 essentially confirmed it.

He added, further elaborating that while he cannot speak a lot about specific details relating to Florence Pugs’s arc in the series for obvious reasons and the fans will have to be a little more patient to watch her, but what is that he can say is that Renner’s Hawkeye and Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova could have “a happy meeting" with each other. ”But in terms of how they meet, I can't – I'll just pretend I don't know. Imagine it's a happy meeting, where they talk over coffee and work things out."

Thomas lastly went on touch on how Marvel Studios Hawkeye is going to fit into the big puzzle of Marvel Cinematic Universe and what is the implication it is going to have on other projects in the franchise as the show is connected to the larger MCU world with the story beginning from the events of Avengers Endgame, where Hawkeye has decided to leave the Avengers behind and live his personal life with his family members happily ."It's definitely a standalone thing in that we have this Christmas setting and this very fixed timeframe story. But it being the MCU, of course, it all connects in some way as well. And we've got new characters, and this was teed up at the end of Black Widow as well. And so everything is always a nice entry point. But I think, for the most part, the story is its own little world."

The first two episodes of Marvel Studios Hawkeye are set to premiere on Disney’s version of Netflix known as Disney+ on 24th November 2021 with the rest of them slowly being released till 22nd December.
