The 18-year-old kid of Elon Musk does not want to be linked to him.

One of Elon Musk's 18-year-old twins has applied to alter her name and gender officially and has also said that she no longer wants to be linked to her father, according to court records acquired by People magazine.

She is requesting to officially alter her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, which is her mother Justine Wilson's maiden name and to be recognized as a female. The petition was submitted by Xavier Alexander Musk in Los Angeles County Superior Court when she became 18 years old. She included a new birth certificate in her petition to reflect the modifications.

Vivian Jenna Wilson stated in her petition that she no longer wanted to live with or be associated with her biological father, Elon Musk in any manner, shape, or form due to her gender identification. A petition hearing is scheduled for this Friday at the Santa Monica Courthouse. The court has not yet decided on the file.

From 2000 through 2008, the head of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk was married to Justine Wilson. They have identical 18-year-old twins Vivian and her brother Griffin, as well as triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian who are 16 years old. In 2002, they also welcomed Nevada, who passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at the age of barely 10 weeks. Son X, who is almost 2 years old, and newborn daughter Y are Elon Musk and Grimes' two children. After the birth of their second child, Musk and Grimes split up.

Recently, Justine Wilson also shared interaction with one of her 18-year-old children who said that their childhood was weird and they could not believe that they were as normal-seeming as they are. Justine responded to her child that she is very proud of them, and the 18-year-old responded that they are proud of themselves. It was not mentioned whether the 18-year-old child was Vivian or her twin, Griffin.

It's unclear why Vivian filed a petition to cut all ties from her father as of right now, but sources say that Elon Musk has said things in the past that are not at all supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. Despite many accusations to the contrary, Elon Musk loves to disagree. While supporting transgender persons, SpaceX CEO said in a now-deleted tweet from 2020 that he thought all pronouns were an esthetic nightmare. He tweeted "Pronouns Suck" in July.

Elon Musk cited a Tesla post from December 2017 that discussed how the company was given a flawless score by the Human Rights Campaign as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality after his tweet came under fire. Elon Musk also declared his intention to back the Republican Party, which is aggressively promoting anti-LGBTQ legislation in several American states, in May 2022.

Elon Musk claimed that he typically votes mostly for Democrats and added that while he may not have done so in the past, he will do so in this election. Elon has stated his support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who signed the divisive "Parental Rights in Education" bill—also referred to as the "Don't Say Gay" law—in March. This divisive law forbids schools from teaching students about gender and sexual orientation issues and exposes teachers to legal repercussions should they violate it.

Elon Musk responded to a question on Twitter last week about his potential presidential candidate for 2024, saying it may be DeSantis since he "has a greater chance of winning" than the Democratic candidate he supported in 2020, Andrew Yang.

Elon Musk has not yet commented on his 18-year-old petition.
