Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are married. (Again)
On May 22, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, in the presence of their family and friends, got married at L'Olivetta, a villa owned by Dolce & Gabbana in Portofino, Itlay. After having a practice wedding in Las Vegas in April where an Elvis Presley impersonator officiated the ceremony, and recently a legal one at the Downtown Courthouse on May 15th, the couple headed to Italy for their extravagant ceremony.
Kourtney Kardashian wore Dolce & Gabbana’s custom white custom corseted satin mini dress that was inspired by 1960s Italian lingerie with a long, dramatic veil that featured a depiction of the Virgin Mary, based on the religious iconography that Travis Barker has inked on the top of his head. ‘Family Loyalty and Respect’ were stitched underneath the religious motif, along with featuring hand-embroidered flowers that were inspired by the gardens of Portofino. Kourtney Kardashian accessorized her wedding dress with lace pumps, a pair of tulle gloves, and, of course, a huge smile on her face.
In an interview with Vogue, Kourtney told that designing her dresses for her big day with Domenico and Stefano has been like a dream come true for her in every way. Dolce & Gabbana shared with Entertainment Tonight that the corset for her wedding dress enhances the silhouette thanks to a design rich in exquisite cuts and realized following expert tailoring techniques that emphasize femininity. The reality Tv star and mother, Kris Jenner, walked Kourtney Kardashian down the aisle.
Travis Barker also wore Dolce & Gabbana’s double-breasted suit, as did the couple’s family members, including their daughter Penelope (Kourtney and ex-Scott’s daughter), Alabama (Travis and ex-Shanna’s daughter) and Atiana (Travis’ stepdaughter), who served as the bridesmaids for the wedding in their matching red-rose embroidered tulle dresses. Their sons Mason, Reign (the ring bearer looked dapper in his black shorts suit, knee-high socks and bow tie) and Landon were also dressed up and were by their parents' side as they exchanged vows.
The couple exchanged their vows while being surrounded by red roses and their loved ones. According to reports, Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo were invited to perform at the wedding ceremony and they sang "I Found My Love in Portofino" and "Can’t Help Falling in Love" for the couple, who appeared madly in love. Andrea and Matteo also sang their 2018 single ‘Fall on Me’ for the ceremony. The sources claim that it was a spectacular performance and that everybody could feel the special moment.
The wedding ceremony was soon followed by a reception at Castello Brown, and Kourtney Kardashian went for a black, corseted lace design dress with a matching short veil, and soon they were spotted wearing Mr. Barker and Mrs. Barker leather jackets. The couple danced, ate good food, and enjoyed their special moments surrounded by the people they love and later shared the wedding pictures on their social media with the caption, "Happily Ever After" and the POOSH founder soon changed her name on Instagram too, making it official Kourtney Kardashian Barker.
Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian with a large oval-shaped diamond ring designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz in October 2021 at the Rosewood Miramar Beach Hotel in Montecito, California. Their special moment was filmed for the family’s new show, "The Kardashians." Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been blending in with each other’s families well, and the series showcases it.
In the latest episode, Kourtney Kardashian was heard saying that Travis is an amazing father, which is one of the reasons she fell in love with him and added that he is very patient. The reality TV star also added that she thinks that because they have known each other for a long time, it makes it easier for them to blend into their families and that’s all that they want.
Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Devin Booker, Mark Hoppus, Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, Simon Huck, Phil Riportella, Steph Shep, etc. were some of the guests at the wedding who were all dressed up at their best for the extravagant wedding. Although Kourtney Kardashian's ex-Scott Disick, was reportedly not invited to the wedding for obvious reasons, and Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Pete Davidson, also could not make it to the wedding because he was gearing up for his last appearance on Saturday Night Live!
