The film industry has lately been plunged into despair as Angela "Angie" Kukawski has been found dead, possibly due to homicide. The lady was a business manager in Los Angeles who managed big names like the Kardashians and Nicki Minaj. Angie worked at Boulevard Management for her high-profile clients and was found dead on December 22 in Van Nuys, in Simi Valley, California.
The number suspect in the death seems to be Angie's boyfriend, aged 49. The man, Jason Barker, will appear in court for his hearing on January 12, 2022. The body of Kukawski was first found in the trunk of a car parked in Simi Valley and was later identified to be Angie Kukowski. The Simi Valley Police Department and Los Angeles Police Department seem to suspect that the man had translocated Angie's body from Van Nuys to Simi Valley, where he hid her in the early hours of the morning of December 23.
Angela Kukawski leaves behind five children and was often described as being "beloved" to the Hollywood industry. Said to be "hard-working" and "a straight shooter," Angela was always seen dedicated to her work and perfecting her craft. Her untimely demise has set back the industry in earnest, and especially the people who relied on her for managing their famous affairs. Working with Boulevard, Angela perfected her art of managing accounts and finances for famous TV personalities, entertainers, athletes, and Hollywood entrepreneurs.
Her work description included asset management, tax preparation, insurance, estate, and retirement planning, and much more when it came to helping the wealthy. From the list of famous clients, the ones that stood out the most were Nicki Minaj, the TV personality Kardashians, the assets and estate of Tupac Shakur, and rappers Kanye West and Offset.
Todd Bozick from Boulevard told Variety, “We are saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our colleague, Angie Kukawski.” He continued, “Angie was a kind, wonderful person, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Angie’s family and friends.”

The Kardashian-Jenner family shared their eulogy for the manager as they talked with TMZ and gave their official statement on Thursday, December 30, almost a week later after the death of the manager. The Keeping Up With the Kardashian stars shared, “Angela was truly the best. She cared about every one of us and made things happen that were impossible. She will be greatly missed, and we send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones during this most difficult time.”
Nicki Minaj shared a similar message for the late manager and also said that she is extremely sad for the five children who will survive their deceased mother. “Hardest working, most reliable, sweetest person you could ever know,” said the “Starships” singer, aged 39. In her Instagram story that she shared this Wednesday, the singer said, “You don’t deserve this, Angela. My heart is breaking for your children. Rest In Peace 🙏.”
Offset kept his message for the star short and simple but managed to detail how heartbreaking the whole situation is. In his Instagram Story, he shared his final statement for the manager, saying, “R.I.P. Angie. Such a sweetheart. You helped me so much, talked to you every week. I’m in disbelief, SMH prayer to your soul.”
The death of the Hollywood personality manager was first reported by Los Angeles Police Department. On December 29, Wednesday the police described that her body was found in a car. The dead manager was 55. The police detailed, “On December 23, 2021, Los Angeles Police Department officers and Simi Valley Police Department personnel responded to the 1500-block of Patricia Ave in Simi Valley to conduct a follow-up on a missing person’s investigation.”
The statement shared on Twitter continued, “Angela Kukawski had been reported missing on December 22, 2021, from Sherman Oaks and was discovered deceased inside her vehicle, which was parked on the street on Patricia Ave.”
There is not much yet revealed about the cause behind the death or the type of injuries the lady sustained from her ordeal with the man Jason Barker, who is said to be Angela's boyfriend. However, a recent update has revealed that Barker must have killed Kukawski on December 29, as revealed by LAPD. He is apparently said to have killed her in their home in Sherman Oaks that they shared together and then "placed her inside her vehicle." He drove the car to 1500 Patricia Ave in Simi Valley, where Angela was found in the car.

Los Angeles released a statement detailing that Jason Barker has been apprehended on the count of premeditated murder and one count on torture by the LA County DA. It was also stated that Kukawaski was killed due to “sharp and blunt force injuries of the head and neck, as well as strangulation.” Jason Barker, aged 49, is now arrested on a $3.07 million bail. More studies on the nature and incidents leading up to death are yet being investigated by LAPD’s Valley Bureau Homicide department.
