Apple is coming forward with another series, this time with Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto. Executive produced and created by Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello, the series will run for just eight episodes.

The series WeCrashed stars Jared Leto as Adam and Anne Hathaway as Rebekah Neumann. The two are the book definition of a power couple with a passionate burn to rule the world. Yet their wish for quick ascension to the top adds a little too much fire to their drama with their startup crashing around them in no while.

The Startup WeWork starts well enough with Adam as the CEO. Charismatic and charming, he is well-paired with the spiritually grounded Rebekah. The combination is quick to find its way into the hearts of people. However, greed leads to their ambitious dreams collapsing right on them.

Anne Hathaway talked about the series with Collider, explaining why she wanted to play the character of Rebekah, how she got into her role for the series, and what it was like to collaborate with Jared Leto on the limited series.

Sharing that she was hooked with Rebekah from the first moment she got to know about the character, she said that it was an "incredible experience" playing the character. She was not aware of WeWork and never knew anyone who knew about the corporation.

So, she approached her character by watching a pilot episode on the lady, Googled to learn more, and did research on her media reaction. She found out a person who actually knew Rebekah and contacted them. All that she gathered about Rebekah made Anne realize that the lady would come off differently to different people who talked to her.

She employed the help of Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello, the creators of the show, to learn more about Rebekah. She was positive that it would be a great series and that they could dive a little deeper into her story.

She built a great relationship with the creators as all of them came down to understanding the "complexity and nuance"  of the entrepreneur. She also said that working with Jared Leto was one of the best of the best things to come out of the series, and in the end, she had to work on the series.

Finding the hidden details of her character, Hathaway revealed that all the people who knew Rebekah would say that she is very "sweet." Yet, the media did not portray her in this light. The hidden aspect of her character helped Hathaway add new layers to the character's portrayal.

She approached the character as a person who was actually good and sweet and had the best of intentions at her heart. Yet things went awry for her, and that is what brought both drama and comedy into the characterization of the series.

She also shared that meeting Rebekah in real life would not have been the best approach for her role. The creators, Lee and Drew, put in enough research from their own part, and it could only have been counterproductive if they had actually met.

Rebekah shared that the making of the series was much "cleaner" that way, and she worked her best with the interpretation she had made of her role. It was not exactly the precise observation of her character, but it worked well as a conscious decision.

She also added that she knew she owed Rebeka the respect and privacy that she would want for herself. Explaining that all the layers to the character and her mystery are not something extraordinary but just what makes her human, she added that everyone is just the same in this regard.

While humans can not be model ideal beings, they develop with time and can have a number of redeeming qualities. This fact about the general human nature compelled Hathaway to play Rebekah.

She also added that though she enjoys working hard and is often at the top of her skill, it was Jared Leto who brought out the best in her in the series. They acted like a team and raised the bar together.

Their connection as artists made the relationship of Rebekah and Adam stand even brighter in the series. She also divulged that they "complemented" each other and that their partnership was filled with respect and gratitude.

The character of Adam and Rebekah also connected with each other almost instantly. She saw greatness in him, something different than how the audience will perceive him.
