In the new episode of The Kardashians, it was revealed how Khloe Kardashian found out about Tristan Thompson’s paternity scandal with Maralee Nichols.
The episode was shot on December 3rd, where Kim Kardashian was alerted by an article online that had published the court documents where Tristan Thompson had admitted that on his 30th birthday he had had sexual intercourse with Maralee Nichols, and though Maralee Nichols alleged that their affair had been going on for months, he denied the accusations. Kim Kardashian alerted everyone, including Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner.
In the episode, Kim Kardashian, while on the phone with sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, said that her soul dies for Khloe Kardashian after reading the article and Tristan Thompson’s confession about fathering a child with Maralee Nichols. The beauty mogul said that she sent the document to Tristan and had texted him whether Khloe knows about this or not. Kim said even though Tristan Thompson had asked for a paternity test to be sure if the child is his, that still means that he did cheat on Khloe on his 30th birthday after Khloe threw him a birthday party. Kim Kardashian read a paragraph form the document where it read that Tristan said that she (Maralee) wanted to give him a special birthday surprise which he understood to mean sex and when she entered the room, they straight away went to have sex which was consensual. (The episode did not mention Maralee Nichols’ name). The sisters called Tristan Thompson’s actions and the entire situation "insane," a never-ending swirl of betrayal. They referred to his previous cheating scandals.
During the conversation, Kim Kardashian also admits that Khloe Kardashian wants a baby boy, and now this girl (Maralee Nichols) is having a baby boy with whom Tristan had a one-night stand. Kourtney said that Khloe does not deserve it, and Kylie finally said that this had to be a final sign for her to end it.The news comes as a shock because just before the news of Tristan cheating break the internet, Kris Jenner had shared with Khloe Kardashian while having lunch that all Tristan talks to Kris about getting married to Khloe to which Khloe said that it's all he talks about before adding that she loves marriage but when it comes to Tristan, there is a lot to work to be done.
In January, Tristan Thompson took to his social media to write a post on his story and come clean once in for all after it was confirmed that Tristan Thompson did father Maralee Nichols’ baby boy, Theo, and apologized to everyone he had caused pain to. In his post shared at the time, the former NBA player said that he takes full responsibility for his actions and is looking forward to raising his and Maralee Nichols’ son amicably. Maralee Nichols, at the time, mentioned that she had no idea that Tristan Thompson was still in a relationship with Khloe Kardashian.
In another story that Tristan posted, he apologized to Khloe Kardashian, stating that she does not deserve the heartache and humiliation he has caused her. He added that the Good American founder deserves to be treated better and that his actions do not line up with the way he views her. Tristan added that regardless of what she may think, he has the utmost respect and love for her and concluded that he is so incredibly sorry.
It was later reported that after Maralee Nichols filed a lawsuit against Tristan Thompson and submitted text exchanges between the two, Tristan Thompson tried to pay her off to get the child aborted, which she did not agree with and gave birth to their son Theo, and later mention that Tristan had not made any attempt to meet their son or provided any financial assistance.
How did Khloe Kardashian react to the entire situation? For that the audience has to wait to find that out in the season finale episode of The Kardashians, but one thing is clear Khloe Kardashian has her sisters to support her to the core. But fans have their reaction and have called out the player for his horrible actions by mentioning that Tristan is a horrible person who would cheat on the same day Khloe Kardashian threw him a birthday part.
